nah, i was doing an internship as a concept artist at the beginning of this year.
It didn't really work out though. It was also weird, that there was only the business owner and multiple internship students that worked there. All the trainees didn't get any payment for what they were doing. You didn't have anybody you could consult with, when you had a question, because there was no one around. So yeah, it was kind of a bad experience.
Currently i'm still searching for a job which is quite the pain, to be honest. -_-
But i'd rather get some job experience than have to study another 3-4 years, which i don't have the money for anyway.
Right now is really frustrating and the pressure from my family to find a job isn't helping either.
I hope you are doing better than me.
Are you going to an university after summerbreak?

Gorgeous portraits you've got here!

Also, I noticed that you used dip pen and ink to do the lineart of at least some pictures. What kind of paper did you use? :) (Smile) I like inking myself but cheap photocopy paper = awful lineart, and yet at the same time I don't want to pay too much, so I'm wondering if perhaps you know some affordable alternative for photocopy paper.

sorry i cant help you with that, i just use normal 80g paper. pretty much have the same problem that i dont want to spent to much for it and i think if your used to this kind of paper you can get good results aswell in my opinion. ^^'
but if i would go for better paper, i probably would like to try out bristol paper or whatever its called, dont know how much it costs though.

apparently you have a bamboo graphics tablet, i just received mine today and every time i try to use it, it switches to mouse mode even after i've adjusted it to pen mode on pen properties menu.
is there something wrong with my tablet?

sry but i havent really messed around with the properties to much, to know if something might be wrong with your tablet.
only solution i come up with is to update your driver for your tablet, or deinstall the current one and reinstall it, or search for the newest driver on the wacom site and install that one. :/
