I would advise you to invest in a DSLR. the difference is huge and you will immediately achieve better results. I also started with a normal camera, but a little bit better than what your now. I'd recommend you buy a book about photography too. try to photograph in the morning or just before sunset!

I see that you're on the right path, but you just do not have the technical equipment to perfect the result.

ooh ok, I'll have to save some money to buy the DSLR but the next time that I visit the library I will buy the photography book 8-) (Cool) I hope this saturday or sunday I can go out to take some pictures in the morning.
