Sooo, I'm stuck with two pounds of Artist's self-hardening clay, and NO idea whatsoever on how to mold into at least small resemblances of Vriska's horns.

Of course I can help! Or at least try! First you need a work space that can be used for rolling clay C: Preferably a nonstick surface that's nice and free of debris. Have some water on the side so you can stop it from drying out while molding. First step is portion the clay and roll it into a ball after kneading it. THEN on the surface you're gonna roll clay on get it to the width and length you need it to be C: chop off what'cha don't need and roll it into a ball. THEN shape the left overs to the top pieces of her horns ^u^ When you're done with that, score the bottoms and attach the side you're working on to the top carefully and apply clay around it to secure it.

If you need help with tips with the horns (Or even teeth. I was gonna post it up on here but the picture's quality isn't good enough -n- here's the [link] if you wanted to see) and such I'll be more than happy to throw some out there for you C: just lemme know! I know some artists & cosplayers get incredibly protective over how to make stuff but I figure share the wealth and help out! I actually made "the vlog that was never meant to be" explaining how I worked on the horns but it got eaten in an error .__.; ANYWAY! Vriska is very lovable and just gets more awesome as the series progresses X3 ! Are you going to a kon or is it for Halloween, mayhaps even both? ^u^
P.S: Yus cause I figure you're cool thus far and may have cool stuff XD I WAS RIGHT! So. much. win. I'm gonna have to get someone to record the antics of my friends and I this Halloween since we're gonna be acting like the characters we're cosplaying as x'D Hawaii people are usually very simple...so... additional entertainment...HERE WE COME <3

Tooth black-out is a good way for making teeth look pointy, but you can also use fake nails and vampire fangs. For mine I got Scarecrow vampire fangs then painted the tooth black out on my other teeth to make them look pointed C: For the horns, I suggest Hearty clay (I used less than one block of the stuff for the pair). Crayola Model Magic is a few bucks cheaper but my friends who suggested Hearty to me say it's not as good. It's VERY light weight & dries fast. Acrylic for the paint & Mod Podge is a good sealer. I use the outdoor one since it's waterproof & probably more sturdy :3 ! Nylon brushes are AMAZING for painting the horns, by the way. Camel hair brush = good for the sealer if you want a lined texture. If you don't want a lined texture, I suggest a nylon brush for that as well X3! When drying your horns, have them on a VERY FLAT surface on foil or some other non-stick surface. Let it dry long enough so the top is hard (A few hours usually) and then flip it over to smooth off the horn on the other side to make it a little more rounded while it's drying. It says 24 hours to dry but I like being on the safe side with my stuff C: so I let it dry for 2-3 days. If there's cracks, you can take a little bit of clay and smooth it on there to fill them ^u^! The Mod Podge sealer takes about 3-6 days to dry completely (Varies on the temp there). For the pincer and stinger style on her horns, I made it out of two separate pieces of clay after shaping them. You'll have to score both surfaces, dampen them, and carefully smooth clay on the pieces to make it look solid. Use small pieces to smooth on the outside if needed, kinda like smoothing out cracks ^u^ ! You WILL need a sealer cause light weight clay isn't waterproof from what I've been noticing, that and it gives the horns a more "complete" feel >u<

You're very welcome C: ! But yeah, the horns will droop if you stand them since they're so big and light, so resting it on its side and repairing as needed is the best way to go.
OH! and keep a cup of water handy! It helps LOTS! Alsoooo rolling the clay into a ball has been helpful in making the even amounts for all the horns I've been working on THEN shaping C:
Following things you can use at home for clay tools: Spoon (Helps with smoothing), Butter knife (Cutting and some shaping), aaand toothpick (Scoring).
