Yes you can have a fox for a pet, it just depends on the laws of which state you are in. Where I live it is legal to own one as long as you have a permit. My baby girl Yuki, she is a sweetheart but when she is moody or down right angry watch out. I should pot a picture of my hands, they are really scarred due to her biting (of course it was when she was younger, she has mellowed out alot now).

Hmm, I see! Living in Finland, I've never heard of anyone having a fox as a pet before and it's gotta be quite unusual in the States too, I'm guessing? I guess when it comes to behavior they're closer to cats than dogs? Do you let her go out? I'm genuinely curious - although I do believe foxes probably make better pets than for example, monkeys!

Yes it is unusual to own a fox. Myself and another person are the only individuals who own a fox, at least that is what the guy who approved me of my permit said. I have been given looks and some people have called me downright crazy; but most of the time people think my girl is adorable and wonder what it is like.

Oh totally foxes are closer to cats than dogs behavior wise. My girl runs like a cat, moves like a cat, Has the typical moods of a cat and has cat-like eyes and semi retractable claws.

No I do not let her out of her enclosure, not anymore. I am sure alot of other owners would get on my ass for not walking her but when I put her in a harness (you have to, they can escape from a collar) she freaks out and gets stressed. And when I take her for a walk she is most of the time pissed at me, she acts like I am going to attack her. So I decided for both of our sakes not to walker. Instead my dad and I will be expanding her enclosure in order for her to be able to run around safely with my dog. Yes she has room to trot and run, but it is not enough for my dog to run with her.

I bet foxes would be better than monkeys, monkeys have huge canines and are more unpredictable.

I've seen this character before! Never actually Saw the source material though. That's a nice change from hearing "Oh he looks like the demon from Death Note!"

I much prefer Manny than the Death Note character, I honestly dont see the similarities with Death Note. Then again, I never really liked the series anyway. I am glad to have caused a change in the comments ^_^.
