Depends on what you mean exactly. I started to draw more when I was 13. In the age of 20 I stopped, because I decided to become a games programmer while studying game design and concentrated on this for 3 years. After I finished my bachelor degree I realised that I don't want to do that for the rest of my life so I switched back to art. Since March 2013 I'm working as a professional 2d game artist & animator.

I'm one of those persons who never throws a sketch away, so I 
have everything still around since I was 13. Since 2011 it's also on
one of my blogs: tamairasjourney.blogspot.de

Due to starting to work professionally I didn't came much around to
do personal work, so there is a gap between summer 2014 and
now, but I plan on scanning and uploading everything over the next
weeks. In case you are interested in this as well : )

Maybe I upload my really old work (13+) some time as well, we will see.

I always love to see other people progress, because nobody is born
as a great artist. But a lot of beginners get discouraged because of
what's already out there. So I started this blog to encourage others as
well. We all learn and grow over time!

I will look through your portfolio now and just mention what caught my eye right at the moment, like I'm seeing it. And overall feedback you get at the end of this message

So let's start!

In the Gallery-Section, when I enter a specific Gallery like Concept Art, there is no going back-button/link. Sure I always could click the Gallery-Link again in the header, but a "Back" at the bottom is always nice. It just makes navigation easier

Also it might be that some of the drawing-files are to big. Because it took ages to load. So just

make them smaller for the website, or decrease the resolution, so that people with bad internet also can access them easily

When I click on "Other works" there are two things listed: "Character Designs" and "Animations", but in the drop down menu are four. So just add those links also in the overview. So everything is the same

In your resume are a lot of projects listed. Maybe you can add a projects tab, where you are introducing those projects and show what you have done for them.

Under "Other Links" you list your blog and deviantart which is great, but it would also be good, if it where actual links the user can click

So that where all the little things that caught my eye you can change if you agree with me. But to wrap it up, your portfolio looks awesome. It looks really professional and there are some things I might include into mine too, because it's just great

The navigation is easy, I can access everything on one click and don't have to search around.

I love the way you presented your resumé. Damn I want that too. Haha.

Like I already said it's great, I already told you I love your work. So just go out there and try it. I mean what can you actually lose? If it doesn't work out right away, then nothing has changed. But if it does, you are a step nearer to what you wanna achieve. 

I also replied to your other message. I would be glad if we stay in contact and help each other out reaching our goals. Because I definitively could learn a lot from your portfolio and I'm sure you also can give me a lot of insights regarding concept art. So maybe I can trade my way to paint for your knowledge in concept art. Deal? :3
