Busy with school/career?
I haven't been very "arty" either.
I have managed to lose about 20 pounds of weight, though,
and get my hair cut short like I've been wanting to do for a
while now.
I just wanted to check in with you and see how you and the
family are doing.

Thank you very much. It's strange because I finished around this time last year and went back because my job prospects still weren't where I wanted them to be. There should be a few more career options open to me now. It seems to be the case that you need to complete specific courses to be able to select a lot of careers these days. It's a bit of a worrying trend I feel.

I am doing well, thank you, if I can keep my back from
spasming. It was "out" a few days, got better, went
out again for another day, and is better again today.   
Wish it would make up its mind!!

What project are you working on? Or is it top secret for the time being?

PC problems are so annoying! We come to depend on them so much that
when they're on the fritz it really causes a lot of anxiety. Hope things get
back to normal for you soon!

Sorry to hear about your back. I hope that it feels better soon.

Modern life seems to consist mostly of computer problems. I'll take it in for repair today as it's still under warranty (which is both a good and bad thing as it means that it's taken less than a year to break).

The project isn't really top secret. I'm trying to make the game that I've intended to make for a while as a 2d version as in theory it should take a lot less time to put something together. I just worry that other things will get in the way again, like the computer problems. So I'm sort of pessimistic about getting anywhere with it at the moment. Hopefully I can put something together before the end of next month.

I'm very glad to hear that your back is feeling better. The laptop is still in the shop. I'm just hoping that they don't need to do a factory reset on it because installing everything from scratch (again) will be frustrating.
