Ok anger aside, try yourself to reply to over 2'000 comments, 1/4th of which are term papers of complete illogical hate spawned by misinformation. If you notice, the deviation has almost 5'000 likes. So you can assume I got a decent amount of attention from the opposite side and given I'm not getting paid to be on this site like most other artists on here I'd prefer not to spend a month (and that's being modest) of my spare time arguing with people that will never agree with me anyway no matter how good my argument is. Understood? If you like I can unblock the comments just for you so you can see how much I tried to keep up with the BS and how many subconversations talking shit kept going without me even coming close to keeping up with anyone.

But that is the majority of the opposing side that you would prefer me to defend myself aginst. Don't get me wrong, I don't consider myself a republican by any means but those that defend the ridiculous laws and what not that have passed under the Obama administration (particualrly the NDAA) are unforgivable when it comes to the rights and well being of the american people. Ok, I'm ranting aimlessly now. To sum it up anyway, Romney is still far worse which I plan to make a mock pick including his mug shot fairly soon.

I used to support Obama (approving the mission to raid the bin Laden compound, repealing DADT), but then my support diminished when he sent 2500 marines to Australia (where they don't belong), he isn't bothering with Iran and Israel, whoever, etc. I don't want a war with Syria (he doesn't plan to start one, but I know the rebels are in desperate need of help. He says he supports gay marriage now, but this is an election year, and I see no initiative to put that into policy. It's just vote-grabbing I can see right through. Not to mention he didn't approve a proper investigation on Wall Street, etc. Then he signed the NDAA into law, and I swore that I would not vote for him.
I don't care if a third party like Green or Libertarian is unelectable, I refuse to support someone like that. His Nobel Peace Prize and position as a constitutional scholar are ludicrous, as far as I'm concerned.

So do you actually plan to vote for Ron Paul? I've heard a lot of people say they plan to just because they refuse to spend their vote on the terd or shit sandwich (love that south park episode). I think everyone has lost their faith in the voting process and the idea of a president that will make a difference. So have I honestly, however if there ever was a president that could instigate the second civil war I believe it would be Mitt Romney.

But I DO vote. I've voted at every chance I got since I turned 18. But the public can't VOTE to repeal the "patriot" act, they can't VOTE to shut down bases in Europe, Japan and Australia, they can't VOTE to repeal the NDAA. They can't VOTE against the president's bad decisions. The Senate and the House can do that, but I don't trust them either. Sure, some of them are good, but I don't see it.
We can petition, write to reps/senators, and protest, but that's not enough.
I don't want Ron Paul, either. He does not approve of the EPA, and he wants to abolish education funds like Pell grants, which are important for students who don't have enough for college.
I want to vote for Dr. Jill Stein (Green Party). I know she won't win, but I don't understand why most of the American public think that they only have two choices. If they think the democrats and republicans aren't so different, why won't they choose a third option? It's baffling and annoying.

Yeah, it's only because the public knows only the republican or democratic canidate will win honestly. Everyone can vote for the odd parties to prove a point but honestly they know they won't win. It's more damage control at this point rather than voting for real hope.
Yeah, I live in NC which we just voted on amendment one which wasn't to legalize gay marriage at all but to make it completely illegal in our state. But due to indirect advertising of sorts people voted against it who might've been on the fence. There have been plenty of petitions but they are pretty much pointless really. Nothing has changed. But we're the only state that has put this type of law into a vote and of coarse they try this law out in the south. Not to sound conspiratorial but I do tend to think the government spawns hate mongering amoungst the people to keep them hating each other rather than focusing on the government's flaws. Yeah still ranting. Bed time.

Yeah, right as the occupy movements were getting big and the NDAA was passed suddenly the media focused on the Treyvon Martin incident and the anti-gay preachers that were making embarassing speeches to the point where the government didn't seem like everyone's focus anymore or so the media made out.

It's very unfortunate that Martin was killed, but I don't know the whole story (who does?). All I know is that he was walking through the neighborhood, got into a fight with Zimmerman, and ended up dead. Zimmerman deserves prison.
There are more important things to worry about, like the NDAA, voter suppression and anti-protest bills.
