I've no idea on personalities. You can have her as you see fit. I just pick the vehicles.

Hope would be respectful, kind of shy.  Brought up in Japan, her persona shows that.  I have a friend from there I met at Godzilla fest and she's shy and reserved. Unless you get to meet her face to face she won't open up and talk to complete strangers.  She's also very bubbly. Always cheerful.

ALFLEX isn't a resurrection of HOPE, it was a 2000 atmospheric test vehicle in preparation for HOPE-X (cancelled in 2003).

I think I have heard of Hermes, actually, although I didn't know much about Hermes until I read the article you gave me the link to; I'm most familiar with the US Space Shuttle, obviously, and with SNC's Dream Chaser. I've also read about the Soviet/Russian Buran shuttle.

Dream Chaser is actually a favorite spacecraft of mine (and I'm not talking about your fictional portrayal here). I love lifting bodies.

Dream Chaser is one of my favourite spacecraft too (again, I'm referring to the real-life version), my other favourite being the Space Shuttle.

I read that SNC filed a legal protest over the Commercial Crew contract decision, so maybe NASA's decision will be changed.

Have you heard that the mock up Shuttle Independence had been vandalized yesterday? Someone sprayed really racist and political grafitti on the side of the Shuttle. The grafitti is gone, but it was really upsetting. Independence may be a mock up Shuttle, but I imagine Discovery would be just as angry as if it happened to one of her sisters who actually flew.

Some time ago Dream Chaser had flipped over during a landing test because one of her wheels wouldn't deploy. Maybe that can be a comic, where Dream Chaser attempts to show Discovery that she can land with only two wheels....and ends up flipping over.

I heard about Dream Chaser flipping over during that test; I've been following her progress closely.

I can certainly see Dream Chaser showing off, trying to land with only two landing gears, and flipping over; she'd end up in hospital for sure, and Disco would say, "Yes, I knew that would happen; it's your fault for trying to land like that!"

How about if Dream Chaser decided to really show off, and land with only two landing gears.....on the VAB roof!
