Alas. not really. THere IS a storyboarding class. And the degree students get a flash class. We are starting a Bachelor's program here, so more things may come.

But it's def a 3d animation school.

Quite a few others from tegaki Nachtenwald go to this school too.

Whoa. I didn't know that many people from Tegaki lived in NC, LOL.

Sweet though, storyboarding is a career I want to do. Even if I only end up going there for a year, that is something I need to look into.

eh.. um....
have you looked at other schools? I like the program I am in now becuase I don't have to take english or math...

But I GREATLY resent the fact they don't even offer life drawing or such of any kind!

There are a few I've looked at, but they aren't in NC. 8T. Raaah, that is a downside. I really want to take more than just animation and cartooning... gotta get the basics down and what not. 6_9

I've come to realize there are really no art schools in NC that cover EVERYTHING. I'm probably going to have to go out of state.

Yeah my parents are considering SCAD. Since it's not that far away, they wont freak out. 8|

putting off what I REALLY really need to be doing.

I am sooo behind in one of my classes. The rigging and animation class i am caught up in. Fine.

The enviroment and lighting class....

Not good. I am still modeling- everyone else has finished that a week ago. All ten props and the enviroment has to be textured by monday. My enviroment is 95% complete. I have 6 items. The items are ready to texture....but i haven't done that yet. I just spent the last 5 hours skinning some iron girders.....and still havent finished.

not good..

i have a headache- no food -no money -and i still haven't taken a shower.

Sigh. I'm at the point where I am in so deep I am avoiding the problem.

That's what I am doing.

Have you talked to your teacher to say your having a problem? Don't know if that will help or not in your case, but that's what I tell Brandon all the time if he starts to struggle in class. (Typical mommy answer.) If I was closer you know I'd help ya anyway I could. I can at least give you a hug when we get there Wednesday. My only other suggestion is to step away from it for about 10 minutes, shut your door close your eyes, relax and clear your mind and see if you can refind your zen.

Me I'm still trying to get use to working at night, it's getting a little easier since the kids started school. Although I am having a heck of a time making a stupid lemon meringue pie right. Can't seem to get it quite thick enough to cut. Which after everything else is a bit aggravating.
Trying to get ready for DragonCon, still hoping I'll get an email or a call from the art show saying they have a space for me.
I can relate to the money situation, fingers crossed I'll get my first paycheck monday.
