YAY NICE JOIN THE PARTY.
I think it's far better to start with traditional rather than digital, since there's a lot of texture and pacing in the process that's lost or just irretrievably different with digital.
Also by starting with traditional you get used to not having an undo button hAHA.

THANK YOU! I usually use digital now, but I also use pencil, ink, Copics and oil paint sometimes. Since I used to do everything in pencil and/or Copics so I think there's a very well-ensconced habit there.

Well you are a master of your art style. What do you use for digital? I have worked on sketchbook app but my art turns out really garish, but yours are breathtaking!

Ah, I mainly use Paint Tool SAI now! I've also tried to use Corel Painter and Photoshop before, but since SAI is so easy to use I don't think I can ever go back, lamentations. Clip Studio Paint is pretty alright though. 
Actually, I think :Amrao: uses Sketchbook, you can ask her about it!
