Wats up deviesIm James W. Johnson also known as Dinoman, Im 18 yrs old & I draw cartoons, comic books, graffti art, & designs for tattoos & clothing.Im from Detriot, MI, & pretty lived there my whole life. I started out drawing when I was in pre-school(young age I know.) Since then, its become a hooby of mine that I've been doing for years & will continue to do for many more years to come.I have big dreams of becoming well known in the enterinment indistry as well as cartooning. I joined Deviantart to share my work with the world. My art style is kinda a combation of traditional cartoon & manga. Im currectly in an animation class to learn how 2 make animation toons and possibly video games. Also I play video games ( psn account name DynoMANInc) watch TV, watch anime, hanging out with friends, doing crazy s#!t, going 2 the movies & just having a good time. So that's a lil something about me, I hope you like what I have to offer & feedback is always appreciated, so show me some love :D

You have a nice gallery and, draw heroes a lot!
Surely you already know, but I like the heroes of the and his works are an inspiration to me. I recommend you try to draw the characters of the entire body to train harder anatomy.

Hi James, i've been checking your gallery and i saw some real improvement in your work, you're on the right track, jumping from traditional to digital it's great, but you must remember that a computer is just another drawing tool, keep practicing and keep learning because thats what we all do, and never be afraid of trying new things or techniques

Your "Final Cover" drawing grabbed my attention, it has a nicely overall color palet and composition, blurring the background gave it a sense of depth.
It might be a little rough on the edges, but is a bold step ahead

I've worked in some companies, i don't know hows over there, but here in Mexico graphic design is an overcrowd underpaid profession, and you got to be able to perform as many things as you can, in my case i'm graphic designer, web designer, i do illustration, some programing, flash animation, i speak 3 languages, and yet, the market needs you to edit audio and video, to know 3D modeling and animation. So my advise is that you must diversify your abilities, the more you know, the easier is going to be for you to get a good job. You'll be rejected many times but that most not discourage you, trust in your abilities, and improve them every day
