those were both sunrises, btw. since i have no idea what i'm doing, i don't set the camera up in any particular way, so it's hard to predict what's coming out on 'd-film'. some of the first rays were the reddest, as you can see in "quiet reflections VIII;" there was no color correction on either shot. "kualoa sunrise" was just a few minutes later - pretty wild difference, eh? :p (Lick)

I'm amazed. I've never seen sunrises with such vivid oranges and reds so I guess I just assumed. Oops. :-) (Smile)

A minute can make such a difference when you're shooting a sunrise or sunset. I'm sad now. I don't live near the beach anymore so no sunshot for me. :-( (Sad) (I'm going to pout now)

yes - that's what i saw too - the little gray one near the top - and the sorta big one just above the real thing - and of course the real thing.
funny thing is, i didn't see 'um until i got home & looked @ the pic. i was totoally trying to catch a reflection from the sun off the plane :p (Lick)
