# About me

I am only a part-time academic illustrator. My drawings and cartoons have appeared in numerous books, journal articles, and popular magazines but they are on the more technical side (maps, graphs, architectural plans,etc. mostly black and white). I am using Deviant Art to make public those things that are not for publication. They are merely whimsies, but feel free to critique. I am going to start expanding into digital illustration just to grow as an artist.

All my comments are sincere and (hopefully) encouraging. If I comment on your deviation, it means I scrolled through pages and pages of borderline-pedophillic-Manga-soft-porn and butt shots to find something worth talking about.

I play bass with whomever will let me.
