Running the stores, and have recently taken over the website for one of them. Also finishing up Dutch FurCon since that's happening in about three weeks

Aww yiss~ Dutchland is going to have a 300% spike in creepy mascot suits, sex and substance abuse~ Furpiles ahoy!

How's the website looking? Most company websites look like awkward attempts at catching up with the age of information. cx

Oioi, don't let the sterotypes run -too- rampant

It's still conceptualizing, I just started yesterday x3 it's not gonna be much special, the store doesn't focus much on online stuff, so it'll mostly be informative.

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-09 22:59:37 +0000 UTC]

It's ok to use stereotypes because I'm a furry! Same reason why it's okay for me to say faggot! That's how it works rite? >.>

www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlUR09… Open. Your mind. O-O

Right, I forgot all about that, faggot!

Haha, oh dear. My latest snippet is www.dutchfurcon.com/ , but I've already found like six major mistakes in that which I can't be bothered to fix since the con is in three weeks anyway xD

You're a faggot too? o:

Hmmm, I can't understand it, but I think it's an invitation to an all out satanic ritual/orgy fest. -3-
So, you made everything on there, including the art? o:

Semi-faggot, I'm pansexual, it's all good to me

You know there's an English-flag shaped button that, when clicked, turns the site English?
No, the art was made by our house artists x3

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-13 00:26:58 +0000 UTC]

Peter Pansexual? o:

Also, I did not know there is a button like that, but I do now, and even if I found it I have a feeling it'd still look like an orgy invitation!

Yus, I like the site, has a nice layout, clearly made by someone who knows the internets!

Ack, I hope you didn't get this multiple times. My internet is derping.

Peter Pan is definitely among the individuals I'd be attracted to, yeah

You'll find that if you can understand what it says, it already looks much less orgy-like!

Haha, well thank you! ^^ Some of the alignment is kinda funky, but I recently learned some new tricks for that

That you can force divisions into particular alignments! I mean I knew this already, but now I know how to actually make it happen.

ALL of the furpiles!

Not at all actually ._. it's pretty damn difficult to make something neat and it takes a long time. It looks like we're doing it fast because we're trained, but it's awful.

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-16 18:12:50 +0000 UTC]

Fighting and then furpiling would be the absolute best though x3

That's alright, you didn't come off that way x3 and it's not that awful, I think it's a lot of fun, but only when I do it for myself. I can't work with time limits on these things, since it's a combination of a creative process and a technical one, it just takes a lot of time and things never go as planned

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-18 00:10:13 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, see~? Now we're talkin~

Working with timelimits it always annoying, but sadly something that can't be avoided. :/

At least you like what you do for work, rite?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-18 14:42:00 +0000 UTC]

Oh murr :3

They told me a lot of things couldn't be avoided. Getting up early, working shitty times, having no free time, dropping friends... So far, I've proved most of those wrong. Time limits won't be an exception to that. Nothing is inevitable, you just gotta have the right priorities (and have some luck on your way)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-19 04:38:12 +0000 UTC]

I hope you didn't lose any friends. Few things are worse,I think. :C
You do seemm to have a natural talent for managing your time, actually, since you get to do so much stuff!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-19 13:06:50 +0000 UTC]

You lose friends over time, it just happens. People change as they grow up. But that doesn't mean it's all bad And for Dutch standards, I'm pretty awful at time management. But then again the Dutch are really arsed up about cramming everything into their schedule with as little time between as possible. Like seriously, the average workday is 9 to 5, and then all stores close at 6. It's like they WANT us to rampage around.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-20 02:45:23 +0000 UTC]

I don't understand this view on thing. I never give up on friends I make, until they make it beyond clear they want nothing to do with me anymore. Otherwise it just feels like giving up on someone, like a betrayal and really sad.

Isn't 9 to 5 the aspiration of all workers everywhere? A late time to go in, an early time to come out.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-20 09:26:59 +0000 UTC]

Oh but it's not a matter of giving up on anyone. Priorities just shift. If I have 80 hours a week to spend with friends and suddenly that changes to 20 because of work, that's 60 hours of contact I have to let go of. Some people can deal with that, others can't. That's not because of betrayal or because we weren't friend, but just because we have different priorities in life. I have friends that I see once a year if we're lucky, and then we just pick up like it was yesterday. But not everyone can deal with that. It's not sad, just natural. "Don't mourn what was lost. Cherish what has been."

9 is late to go in? ._. I open at 10 at the earliest, and my own shop won't open before 12. 9 to 5 is just standard, and I don't like it. But the point is, if I leave work at 5 and shops close at 6 (oh, municipalities close at 5 as well btw, so all your official business, you've only got Thursday evening or Saturday to take care off), then good luck fighting off hundreds of other people who have to run their errands in the same time frame as you. We don't scower using up our break time to have 10-minute business meetings and the like. Point in case; Dutch people are notoriously tight planners, and I'm -not- that, so I kind of miss out on a lot of things x3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-21 02:02:52 +0000 UTC]

I can't really do the cherishing without the mourning.

Dude, most people go to work at 8 or 7 in the morning, and not just in second and third world countries. A 9 to 5 is an american's dream. You western Europeans have it really easy, it seems. XP

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-21 09:13:57 +0000 UTC]

Ah, everyone does things their own way of course x3

Nah, I'm just used to luxury. There's enough people here who start at 6 or 7 or 8 as well   also "Western Europeans" is silly, every country has their own government

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-21 21:42:28 +0000 UTC]

Yah they do have their own government, but some have it easier than others. XP

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-22 00:55:54 +0000 UTC]

Every country has its struggles. I'll agree with three out of four Scandinavian countries being pretty damn awesome, but the others you named? Our own current government is fucking over students and low-income households hard. People who don't have work get financial support from the government, who then forces them into jobs that somehow earn them -less- than they'd get if they didn't work, and then the government wonders why they won't get a job. France has huge intolerance problems and a lot of problems with education. The UK has a government that borders on nazism without invoking Godwin's Law. Nah man, European countries aren't the heaven they're made out to be I think I'd prefer most Western European countries over the US still, but it's not all peaches and gravy.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-23 02:37:44 +0000 UTC]

You need to visit the US, Africa, Asia and South America to gain some perspective. There is no such thing as a life without problems but European life is the dream life. xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-23 17:29:29 +0000 UTC]

We've got a lot of opportunities in some European countries, but don't say "European life", because not every country here is the same. Remember Greece? Every life has its own obstacles, some bigger than others.

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-27 08:23:03 +0000 UTC]

Aye, as far as we're aware. Luckily, fully electric cars are making their way into the world (just not affordable for an ex-student yet), and electricity is in turn becoming more and more renewable. We're not nearly there yet, but we'll get there. At some point, we'll have to

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-28 02:20:07 +0000 UTC]

WE already have to. Within twenty years, if we don't do something major, the world will have gone to utter shit! Scary, innit? Most people still just ignore it. They don't comprehend the danger, or are scared by it, so they willingly choose to pretend it doesn't exist.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-28 10:28:44 +0000 UTC]

Aye, but I think a lot of people are willing to change if the threshold isn't that big. We already hold the possibilities to turn it over, why do you think it's not happening? Conspiracy theories aside, it's the people who make money off it. Things like Thorium reactors (nuclear reactors with twenty times as much output and ten times less waste) are patented by big corps so they never come into production. That's not tinfoil hatting, either, that's honestly the way it works. We could run entirely off of renewable energy already, but it's not profitable, and as we all know, having money is more important than having a habitable planet.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-28 12:06:03 +0000 UTC]

They don't come into production because they're very complicated and expensive to make. XP
And less tested, they don't have much precedent.
So the classics are just safer investments!

YOU KNOW KRASTIAN TOO? O:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

serpenttao04 In reply to Fewroth [2015-07-28 22:37:57 +0000 UTC]

Ah yes, unlike nuclear reactors, which are very straightforward and affordable, and have had extensive testing before they saw widespread use... but that's what I said, right? The fossil fuels are safer -investments- in terms of money, and that's the problem. As long as renewable stuff doesn't make money, it won't come into use because people value money over their own damn planet.

I.. What?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fewroth In reply to serpenttao04 [2015-07-29 02:44:10 +0000 UTC]

Well no, even amongst nuclear reactors, there are safer and more efficient ways to produce electricity, as opposed to the classical steam reactor with nuclear power added, but those versions are a lot more complex and expensive.

Kristian van Alphen. I see you in his Steam list! Guynio o3o
