yes truly.. though, preferring a life without struggle might also mean utopia.. but it might also mean stagnation and death. the rigors of life is what makes it colorful and satisfying [ie. savoring victory over something] and what makes us truly alive. entertainment indeed

I've been alright. The second term just started and I'm getting better shifts at work. I'm going to a pop culture expo called Supanova this weekend and I'm suuuuper excited. I'm going to meet Alex Kingston, Sylvester McCoy and Barbara Eden. I can't wait at all! Going to see some friends and just hang out and buy stuff and meet people. I'm excited as all hell.

Alex had food poisoning on the day I went D': I was so devastated but Sylvester, Barbara and Sam (Flash Gordon) were lovely and fantastic. I've since decided that Sylvester is my spirit animal and am super excited that I got to meet one of the Doctors, Jeannie and Flash (the extra amazing bit with Sam is that I flirted a little with him. I FLIRTED WITH FLASH GORDON!!! )
I hope all of your exams are going well. I know how hard it is to get your head wrapped around all that kind of stuff. I've got a few assignments and such due this week and a few that I'm only just going to be getting so I have to work flat out for those as well.
I love lots of hugs! It's my birthday tomorrow so I'm super excited hahaha. Have a speaking task and a monologue due though

I did kind of think of my Supanova trip as a bit of an early birthday present actually. Sam was flattered that I thought he was still very attractive and that's kind of what made the whole moment. i'm surprised i'm not disappointed with the Moffat finale (unlike his season 6 finale). its a good one, to be honest, AND A REALLY BIG CLIFFHANGER AT THE ENDING. THANK YOU MOFFAT, i'll have to wait for months in agony.. while i trudge and toil through my grueling academics

and the cybermen in Nightmare in Silver look like Ironmen, and is overpowered. well, at least they're scarier

Well, I guess I'd have to say the same about the grueling academics. I have assessments and exams due soon. I've been assessing my life lately and figured out that I probably am only interested in relationships and fandoms. It's not very good and I feel as though it is driving people away. It's a bit depressing. But on the upside, I realised that I AM A SASS MONSTER! That is always something to look forward to. The sass part of life. I rather liked the finale. Season 7 was just a big disappointment in general. I wish it was a bit better but HEYY! ANY DOCTOR WHO IS GOOD DOCTOR WHO!!! And don't worry about it, it was a great reply

OH. well, different countries, different education system [i mean, the date when classes start and end.. well also the system itself. we're just implementing the K-12 here. we're very late ]. but anyway, good luck on all of your acads!! that's kinda a lot to focus on . my classes start next week again.. oh how the summer ended so quickly. i didn't even feel anything i would consider vacation. hahaha
well, that's normal i guess. it's one of our ways to lessen the stress. don't worry, sometimes i focus too much on Doctor Who. but i think that's just the stress doing that. why would it drive people away? D: are you not able to find people with common interests? there are fandoms here that organize meet-ups, and members always make new friends when that happens.

I'm doing pretty well, have a new boyfriend who is lovely and adorable. I've finished my assessment for the term and I am going on a three week trip. I'm excited! The year is nearly over and that means that I can have a 2 month break in which all I do is sleep and skype and work. I'm keener for that than anything. How are you? Are you doing well?

OOH that's very very nice to hear and i take your relationship with your adorable boyfriend is going really nicely. glad your troubles are almost over for the meantime and oooh is that a work/school-related trip? or just a vacation?  3 weeks of pure awesomeness and relaxation? wow 2 months is a long time but who doesn't want a really long break hehe. i'm assuming "summer vacation and Holiday season" in your hemisphere, am i right? awesome! 

well, the sem is almost over.. lol. struggling with the few remaining weeks of acads terror and turmoil before we have the 3-week-long sem break. then the 2nd sem starts on the first week of November. wow. time flies so fast . 
academically speaking.. same old haggard me catching up.. and trying not fail.. which i still fail to not fail so painfully. hehehe but other than that, i am quite.. alright hehe 
oh, and i spilled sardines oil on my phone.. the LCD got stained inside (i was hoping it didn't wreck my LCD), and I tried to open it to clean it up. lol. i accidentally broke something inside. now my phone's useless.. but other than that, i am A-okay also, i managed to buy three 50th anniversary special books in a bookfair just last weekend... which wrecked my budget for the entire week by the way... but it was totally worth it: sphotos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos…

hehe.. wouldn't be able to read them til the sembreak though. lots of struggling ongoing.
