Interesting i never heard of anyone actually making vex models besides u of course, (maybe a lego one here and there possibly) but lol XD that harpy type does look like spinner when it's open wide. It makes me wonder were the harpys design inspired by a spinner or was it just a coincidence ?_? (We may never know)

I believe they worship it from understanding the darkness. Worshiping the Darkness gives Power and after listening to Byf's lore reading it seems that way... 
( in short after the vex faced oryx in his thrown world they saw that they were weak and after studying the hive they started worshiping the darkness they became stronger and the dark heart was part of this dark worship)

However, The Hive & Vex war was centuries before Crota came to our galaxy and some theorize the traveler made guardians ( army of light) while the dark made the vex (army of dark).  And others say the dark heart was a trap given by the darkness to see if the traveler was once more active and becoming stronger... to alert the darkness & help them plan their next move to take the light to resurrect a dark god.

It's not really a theory it was in the lore from Destiny 1. Book of Sorrow (I believe). Savathun tricked Crota in opening a rift in reality's to become stronger but brought the vex into Oryx's thrown world. The vex killed hundreds of Oryx's thrall and in the End Oryx killed the Vex that came through to his domain and took Quria. Made her into one of his taken but with 1 difference with some traits untouched like her mind and ability to simulate & gifted Quria to Savathun before Savathun parted ways into a black hole to become different than Oryx. But Crota's punishment he was cast away into the vex network to either become stronger or die. Which resulted in the vex learning from their loss and start worshiping the darkness. (some information u probably already knew & I'm probably overthinking the explaining thing. D1 vets thought as lore as fact of history of events before Destiny 1 but it seems to become sketchy in Destiny 2)


But the entire Precursor and Decedent thing. The far-past was bright for the vex (world of light) with resources being limitless for the Precursor's, but the future is dark (world of darkness... the light is gone & our sun is dead) so in a way it makes some sense and with resources probably being limited in the future for the Decedent's(especially with everything being possibly dead including the planets. Only darkness and machine's remain)

Atheon was one of my D1 favorites with the futuristic unknown look & diamond fortress, D2 well I have to say Argos with his decrepit and fiendish look.  Lore wise I'm just curious as hell what Quria blade transform might look like (I know she's a unique Hydra but would she look closer to Argos or Panoptes only time will tell on that one... when ever Bungie wants to reveal her)

Thanks! eh I had to re-new my car plates at the BMV and all I got was a few bucks from my folks that pretty much paid for the car plates but it was all good later that made my day & Happy that I got my favorite dinner. BBQ Ribs with Fries, dessert was an Ice cream cake. Overall, I prefer Ice cream cake over actual fluffy bread cake.... due to having fluffy bread cake to much as a kid.. like way to much... Like so much I felt like I was literally going to be sick and made me swear of fluffy cake for a few months to a few years.
