I never said that it was yours but if you don't know the originals artists, I can help you with a few one I know.

Yes of course!
Please send me a note with the original artists and the corresponding topics, to know which I should edit. I'm preparing also a watermark to show that this is a lwp and not a copy wallpaper or image of the original one.
Thank you

Not all (if any) of this artwork is actually theirs. They have a ton of stolen art in their deviations that I recognize from people I'm watching. I'd avoid this person if I were you, except to check and make sure he hasn't stolen any of YOURS. :/

Sure man! I need only to search for screenshots of the original widget and for any original extracted .apk

The only thing is that XWidget doesn't have the am/pm format codes for the weather update time.

Btw you mean this one?

can anyone tell me how to apply xwidgets in windows 7 32 bit??
i m a little new in this...

Jimking In reply to Sadeep236 [2018-04-20 14:25:31 +0000 UTC]

Hello Sadeep. First install XWidget from here:
xwidget.com/
Then you have the option or to download/install widgets from the program's online gallery or install external widgets (.xwp) from here on DA or from XWidget's forum bbs.xwidget.com/ or any other source.
You only need to double click on .xwp files and the skins/widgets will be installed automatically.

PM: If you need any help about XWidget please send a note here..

It still is free. What are you talking about, the engine or Jim's widget?

The engine is completely free to use, build your own widgets or you can download them from the deviantart xwidget group. If you want access to thousands of the 'premium' widgets then you simply make a set contribution to development.

Hey Jim, you are, without a doubt, the Xwidget wizard of the world. I'm almost convinced that you may be the one who designed Xwidget in the first place, so I come to you for a little help (if you don't mind). I'm fairly new to Xwidget (about 1 month) and am trying to design the Star Trek Viewing Screen Lights for Xwidget. I have the base PNG file and the sound effect file and have no clue as to how to make animated lights. If it's not too much trouble, I would like to send you the file for what I've done so far and see if you can make it happen, or at least tell me how to make it do what's needed. I have found NOWHERE a good tutorial on how to do advanced actions using Xwidget so I'm really stuck. If you could help me, that would be fantastic. I would also give credit to you in the final file.

Thanks for your time

Jimking In reply to DJDale69 [2017-03-18 19:42:19 +0000 UTC]

Hi. Thank u very much for your words and I'm glad that you like my work! About your question.. To create the animation you need to have a number of images and use the pnganimated component of the designer. But you need to be more specific about the kind of the animation you want, because there are other 'tricks' for that..

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DJDale69 In reply to Jimking [2017-03-20 01:03:44 +0000 UTC]

I just want the lights to travel around the line at random really....Are you familiar with the lights under the Viewscreen on Star Trek the Original Series ??? That's the kind of animation I want to make. I'm sure it's not too difficult, I just have no idea how to accomplish that.Β Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jimking In reply to DJDale69 [2017-03-20 12:46:42 +0000 UTC]

I see.. I think that you can use this example
jimking.deviantart.com/art/Chr…
or
use the pnganimated component. You need to create a series of images like the animated weather icons:
jimking.deviantart.com/art/Wea…

DJDale69 In reply to Jimking [2017-03-21 01:18:11 +0000 UTC]

I must be blind because I've never noticed the pnganimated component. That did the trick. You are THE KING !!!! Thank You my brother.....thank you

The site is temp offline to fix some server issues. The site will be back online soon

Alonsomaniac In reply to Jimking [2016-11-27 12:05:10 +0000 UTC]

Thanks.
I was thinking it was closed definitely....
I assume that the problems when temperature updating is due to server shutdown...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jimking In reply to Alonsomaniac [2016-11-27 14:15:57 +0000 UTC]

The server will be back online soon. The dev tries to find a way to fix it because the number of the Xwidget users is really high now and the server very often is overloaded. As a solution is to connect the weather service/update to the AccuWeather.com

raised it as a bug here: jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE-1…

It may not receive any attention in itself but other things/bugs will be fixed and the engine may start to work better than it does now. Keep an eye out for ReactOS, it may be the future for desktops. Microsoft in future versions of Windows may be about to remove the desktop altogether.

Jim, you are becoming a one-man band for Xwidgets, just checked the forum and you are almost the only poster on the forum for two months now. Tony should rename the engine the jimking-widget engine as you are the one and only thing that is keeping it alive!

You have done Tony and Xwidgets such sterling service, I hope he appreciates how hard you have worked. IS there any news about Xwidget or is Tony keeping you in the dark as well?

User who has already asked for the same thing to the Chinese XWidget chat, told me that the v2.0 will be ready for the next month. I hope that it's true but I know for sure that Tony is working on it.. Thanks for the support yerever!

I'll believe it when I see it! If it does come out then hopefully, there should be some reason for posting again on the forum soon.
I'll stop my previous abandonment of Xwidgets, give it a go and see what has improved. I'll also review it and see if that drums up any interest.

yereverluvinuncleber In reply to Jimking [2016-11-14 13:04:21 +0000 UTC]

If I had thought that any of our complaints were previously being heard and answered by the devs then I would have carried on contributing designs - but Xwidgets, for me, is a seriously flawed product that I couldn't justify using. If Xwidget 2.0 contains fixes instead of just bringing out new stuff, ie. it fixes bugs raised then I will change my mind. I'll be happy for desktop core changes and more cores on Android but I want the IDE to mature, the documentation to be started and the bugs we raised, noted and then fixed.

I can understand why you feel lonely. If it wasn't for you alone Xwidgets would be DEAD.

I don't know if the developer will add it in the future, but for now the XWidget app doesn't support the music players widgets. If it's not what are you asked me please explain..
