...sort-of. I used to be almost fluent because I was taking advanced French language courses, but that was about 3 years ago and its hard to practice here, as no one else I know speaks French (or just doesn't really choose to speak French). xD

I volunteered at an apartment school daycare during my junior year of high school. There was yarn sprawled all over the place, but I had never in my life, seen so many children quietly waiting to be taught how to crochet, even the four year olds

The full reason that I posted the tutorials was so that more people could learn; the techniques are simple, common knowledge, but there are others that hide these things, in greed, thinking of ways to make more money off of it >.<

So by all means, please feel free to do the beaded star, and perhaps one of them will improve upon it further

There was an alteration I wanted to add, that after the base circle is done, thread the needle so it comes out where the tail is. Tie the tail with the current thread the needle is on, then continue the pattern -- to ensure that the work does not come undone

I love that you post tutorials, and it is really appreciated. I know what you mean about hiding things-- I sell prints at anime conventions, and this seems to be a trend in the artist alley.

XDD Exactly! I love the internet for that very reason. I remember when I did have the Discovery channel, I was sick at home, laying on the couch and watching a shark show.

Though for commissions I think I am going to just open an art shop on Gaiaonline to see how that goes... If all goes well I will start to commission for real monies XD
