I use Copic Markers, I really like them. xD
I think that I'm good at painting with them but when I paint with coloring penciles.....I totally ruin the draw......I'm a totally trash coloring with coloring pencils.....

Colored pencils are definitely exhausting to work with for sure x.x If you want everything to be solid, then you have to maintain maximum pressure for a good majority of the drawing, sort of wears your hand out after a few hours and you cant work anymore for a couple days, lol
I do love em though, a wide variety of effects you can create :3
Good pencils do make a huge difference though. Honestly, I used Crayola colored pencils for something close to 3 years before I got some Prismacolors, they make it SO much more of a pleasant experience, but you learn a lot of valuable lessons using basic tools..
It just takes practice ^^

Keep on with the copics though! Whatever makes you happy is what you should work with; it's good to be well rounded, but enjoyment of the process should be the primary focus, the journey is all that matters and that ability to get into the groove of something is what makes your work shine to others. I'm definitely guilty of stressing the outcome before the process a lot of the time, but it always gets me into trouble, lol
