And I know I didn't have to, but of course, it's Christmas pretty soon and I'm still really grateful for the inspiration! Plus I actually have been feeling pretty guilty since I know I've been kind of unsavory the towards the end of our Tumblr contact and I really wanted to make up for it somehow. This isn't it though; I've still got some stuf coming up soon for that though.

Obligated is is definitely not he right word, LOL! Nothing gives me more pleasure than doing that sort of thing for people and making them smile. These two are good examples: 
The lotus was a gift and the other one was a free "commission", but the reactions I got honestly made my day! And besides, making these gifts is giving me the chance to improve. I can't wait to show you what I've got in the works and it's all thanks to this sort of thing :3

Pretty swell, actually. I've dropped the trollculture pretty much entirely, of course and I've been talking about a lot more philosophy with people I am meeting via sharezone here on Deviantart. I've come accross some really cool people too! And I finally managed to fix up my amp and EQ settings just the way I want them to be, so I am going for a full album and a record label. My art's improving a lot too; my current WIP is probably my best work, to be honest, but I am putting a lot more time into it than before though, lol. And once I get the concept art done on my characters, I'm going to try and get a Cintiq so I can get started on my comic. I'll be doing full cinematic animation too with Cinema 4D. A buddy of mine is showing me the ropes with the software. And I'm very glad to hear that it's going well too! I myself plan to move to Portland soon to go to a good art college there. I'm mainly working myself to the bone right now until then.

Ah, it's not about speed. Sometimes, it takes me days and weeks to finish a commission just because I'm lazy and nothing seems to work.
I haven't tried SAI yet because it doesn't work on Mac but I heard that it's pretty cool? Painter was way too slow on my laptop but it's a very powerful tool! If you're on Windows, you can also check the Adobe website, I think they're allowing people to download Photoshop CS2 for free. You only need to create an account.

That's very true, although when it takes me a week just to do one picture, it gets a bit discouraging. But I'm hoping that when I get a Cintiq, that will all change. As it happens, I have Photoshop CS6 already, but I don't where know where to find tutorials that actually go in and properly teach you how to use it with a lot of detail. But so far, I have been teaching myself just about everything with all of the programs I currently have. Of course, you already know that I have SAI and yes indeed, all of the people I have shared the program with who also use Macs say that pen pressure doesn't work. But you can still use it if you get Winebottler, which simulate a Windows environment for Macs. I gave a couple of people some software such as TvPaint using that method and they say it works fine. I do also have Corel Painter X3 though and I think that it would be better for my particular style. As far as what I have made with SAI, well

This is actually something I did when teaching myself, but it took way too long. I focused too much on trying to make sure the lines were perfect, when the coloring went by smoothly. I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline, Kitty, I apologize. My political views are rather conservative and i do tend to get pretty vocal when discussing the matters. And even though I'm not attacking anyone, nor do I mean any offense, it doesn't stop me from getting banned everywhere I debate due to the sensitivity of the masses. But I do certainly appreciate it.
