Son of Emiya Norikata. Saber's Original master. Also known as Magus Killer.
Professional in various arts of killing.
He sought the Holy grail during the 4th heaven's feel to bring forth salvation and peace to mankind, and was willing to sacrifice the few to save the hundreds. but relinquished the Grail because it was corrupted by 'Angra'. he was cursed by it which caused his demise 5 years later.
His goal in the 6th Heaven's Feel is to destroy it entirely, or if there's a way to cleanse it to continue his wish.

It seems the Grail is extremely ironic, Ressurecting Emiya kiritsugu and also summoning him as a Servant the infamous 'Magus Killer' known by the magi and the church.
