Airsoft, sadly. The real-steal Civilian legal version of the SCAR (which thankfully has NO modifications beyond the removal of fully-automatic fire), is more than $2500, which means more than I payed for my car.

ITF is Olympic style teaching, hard contact sparring, etc. And different katas, but it's still Tae Kwon Do. We did little to no contact for the most part, and as I mentioned, our forms are a little different.

I'd prefer to train in a different style now. Tae Kwon Do is a decent art for a standing defence, but it's weak offensively, and near to useless for ground fighting. Aikido, Ju Jitsu, Krav Maga, and Systema are the four styles I'm really interested in learning right now. Bonus points, there's a Krav school about 40 minutes from my house, the downside being it's horrendously expensive, and I have to be able to get off work in time to get down there and all that.

I'd like to practice Krav Maga, I also heard that brazilian jiu jitsu is awesome. ever heard of Jeet kune do? it's quite similar to systema. I hope you get the money some day soon.
