Lovino is not the nicest guy. He is harsh and brash with his words, unless it is a female. Lovino tends to soften his attitude and be more gentleman-like if he was dealing with woman. The first impression from him is that his rough attitude. Lovino acts as if he doesn't give a damn to whatever happened around him but for those who knows or even understands him better, it's just an act he did to cover his more gentle side. He is either too shy to show his human side or because he was raised in such rough surroundings. Also he is a man of his word. If he promises something, he will hold on his words.
