Yknow, I saw in your journal that you like the series young justice and although I don't really watch it, in the story I'm writing their are two characters based of Kaldurham and Superboy with a twist and I thought you might be interested in reading it. Their in chapter 6 if you just want to skip to their introduction in the story.

Well, that is what Photoshop is for. Reviving every picture killed by the scanner. lol!
Watercolour pencils are just as useful. They are watercolours in pencil form.
What you can do is peel back the wood of the pencils and grind up the color inside to mix with water.

How is the scanner demented if you don't know how to use it? I'm sure a lot of things become demented if you're not sure how to use them. lol~

Before I got the good scanner, I used a camera and Photoshop which came out with scanner-like results anyway, so perhaps you could resort to that?

I have not actually used it myself, but there is such a free software called GIMP which I hear is very similar to Photoshop. Perhaps you can use that to edit your camera photos? (Believe it or not, some of my deviations are actually photographs enhanced on Photoshop to appear like scans. lol~ So it is very effective.)
