Their First MeetingΒ Β Β Β Β Β Β From one side of the hole to the other, Imoo paced in agitation β if it could be called pacing. The hole was barely big enough for him to take a single step before having to turn around and step again. Every few minutes the lion would stop and gather his legs beneath him, launching himself into the air; he would dig his claws into the dirt wall, scrambling for a foot hold against the remnants of the woven grassed he had first fallen through, only to fall back to the ground in a shower of rock and dirt. By this time he had been trapped for several hours and had a coating of russet dust across his black and white pelt from his many attempts at escape.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β It was still quite bright out, early afternoon perhaps, but Imoo knew evening would come soon enough, leaving him at the mercy of the other creatures that came out at night. If by chance the humans that had dug his prison
