Ah, yes. School.
The dreaded enemy of most people between the ages of 5 to 18, included some special people from ages 2 to 34.
It has plagued this planet for many years, offering false sweetness such as the promise of more money or better job options that will bring us happiness if we stay with it.
Fooling people into believing it is a safe and secure place where one can learn and grow, only to have its true nature revealed upon the first 2 minutes of official entry.
Bullying and neglectful teachers reside behind the doors, bringing shame and 'not so higher' learning to the unfortunate victims inside.
But alas, there are 'breaks' to yearn for, such as the bell of lunch, the class of art, or even the small breaks of free time between the classes.
Ah, yes. School.
The place of shame, humility, false promises on the degree of learning, & the ever present yearn for freedom.
The moment that final bell rings, the level of joy and mirth skyrocket into the heavens and bring forth a blissful happiness that will last several life times...or SHOULD last several life times.
But alas, the dreaded curse of the educational system knows no bounds and instead INSISTS that you must still do their bidding even beyond their grounds through the accursed parchment known as 'homework'.
Along with this 'homework' comes a bound pile of parchments that you are to read and recite to the best of your memory 'less you be scorned upon your return to the place known as 'School'.
I weep and pray for those souls bound to such a place for I had once been there myself, only to escape with resistant & cunning tactics.
I am free but with a price.
I cannot enter society and live among them as I should, I had denied my chance at learning and ended my fate.
So with the irony setting in, I urge you to stay in school & commence with your learning.
Don't make my mistake, soar for the stars...or die trying.

I've been doing fine. I've just been taking care of some baby chicks and nursing a sprained ankle.
Oh also, I have a new cat.
She is very affectionate although she is very afraid of hanging objects for some reason.

She appears to be a Korat but I'm not entirely sure since she's a stray.

You could say I picked her off the street.
She actually scoped out the houses of the neighborhood for a few days.
One early morning I heard her meowing at the neighbor's door.
No one came you answer, so I got her nonchalantly caught her attention. (You know..just played it cool)
Next thing I know she's trots as fast as her legs can take her.
She rubs the top of her head on my feet then climbed up my pants leg for me to pet her.
I awkwardly did what she wanted, she sat in my lap as I lied on the ground. She even stayed as it began to drizzle but ran when my mom came outside.
Later that day, she's inside, well-fed, & willingly sleeps on my stomach although she had some bad problems with the dog & vice-versa.
I helped her take care of that.
It toke only 2 days to get them to tolerate each other

Hmm..well if you're board then I suggest you stay clear of any types of saws and/or woodshop equipment, & fire.
Also water & snow, those will just slow you down and cause you to rot.
I have some deck sealant if you'd like it. Its water proof & sun damage resistant.
