What did you think of Nightwish's latest album Endless Forms Most Beautiful? Was it purrfectXD

While I love most of the songs, especially Walden, I feel that they are losing their touch. I was just commenting on that recently with a friend whose favorite bend is also Nightwish, and it's not something I could really point my finger on, but they had a different sort of vibe earlier. Little bit more mysterious. Their newer songs are a little bit calmer, and although the lyrics are now more easily understandable, which I like, I feel sort of nostalgic about their earlier depth.
This probably sounds a lot more philosophical then I intended, but it's past 2.30am here and it is probably mix of procrastionation and studying mood.

Despite being a conservative Christian I enjoyed EFMB and wasn't really disgusted by the presence of Richard Dawkins on the album. God never said to be close-minded...

Yep, and he also said we don't get to judge others because that's only his right and only he can see what's in a person's heart. Something many of those who call themselves Christians forget. Or don't know because they don't care and only use their religion to throw hate at everybody who doesn't appeal to their standards.

I hope I didn't cross any lines by mentioning religion. I do like religion but not how some people use it and abuse it. I try my very best to accept other people and their povs and learn from them.
Btw, I noticed that you are from Croatia, one of my favorite European countries. Unlike other Americans, I love learning about the rest of the world and sharing my knowledge with other people.

My poor cat, who's been missing for more than two weeks, came home today.Β Well, most of him is home. He just came back from surgery. He doesn't have a tail anymore and he's really really thin, but other than that he seems uninjured. The vet says the wound should heal in two weeks.
