I can relate honestly

my sister "Sanctum" whom I became best friends with at first and quickly called my "big sister" was the most amazing person I had ever become friends with we were best pals for around 4 years but then she went on Tumblr became Tumblr-famous and just completely changed she was no longer the Sanctum I once knew and eventually it destroyed our friendship kinda depressing knowing that the very person you looked up to ended up having a stick up her ass

Her name was Lexi, she has an account here. We kinda drifted apart two years ago; she didn't feel comfortable talking to me because I was older than her. It's sad because she likes singing and you could say that I'm a fan of her singing but not her chosen lifestyle. It's her decision, yes, but I don't think she's enjoying it.
