Yes, that's why it was so devastating for many bronies. I read that too, and I felt myself empty for a couple of hours. You know, usually i like violence and stuff, but when one pony rips the guts out of another pony, which is still alive, and uses them like a floss... So THIS is the real example of mixing brutal and adorable things, and this is disgusting. My picture of ponymarine can't cause a shitstorm like Cupcakes did on many forums.

40k is more disgusting? Absolutely not. Even the daemonic stuff and dark eldar tortures are not as brutal and disgusting. You see, there's nothing wrong about it in the grimdark future, but it's completely wrong when it's about MLP. Especially if you watched it and care about it, it really feels bad to read about unbearable pain of the little pony. The bastard who wrote this is a talented person with a good imagination though.

Trust me, I know a lot of stuff about 40k and even the bloodiest things could only make me smile for a sec. I know that picture you're talking about and I felt the same way. Cupcakes wouldn't be so ugly, if it wasn't about ponies and if it wasn't so concentrated on describing sufferings.
