# About me
I am living, dreaming, creating and working in Oklahoma.I walk a path that is scientific, pagan, skeptical, magickal, animistic/shamanic, the path of the artist, the dreamer, the mystic, the fortune-teller, the medicine road.
Racially I identify with several different groups due to both heritage and community. I was raised in Oklahoma and am part Cherokee, I am also part Creole along with German and Irish thrown in for flavor. I believe that we all have far more similarities than differences.
I have uncommonly broad interests but there are a few causes and interests that are near and dear to my heart:
Wolf preservation and rescue
LGBT Acceptance and Rights
Size Acceptance and Rights
Mental Illness Acceptance and Rights
Sexual Acceptance and Education
Herbal healing and natural medicine
Spiritually I identify with many paths, though the closest you could come to labeling me would be 'Eclectic Pagan'. I have made a point to consider all faiths and opinions and strive to learn as opposed to disparage. Socially I am what you would call an 'ambivert', which basically means I get along with extroverts and introverts and can adapt either way. I am always learning and growing and teach others when it is asked.
I work primarily in watermedia but inculcate other media when need be. I also do murals. My subject matter varies, but I tend to lean towards what I mentioned in my initial e-mail. I do not reject 'types' or 'labels' from the git-go, though that was my feeling at one point in time I think the communication roadblocks produced by rejecting simple 'types' is not worth the effort. Rather, as an artist I attempt to reconcile the types in the same way a psychotherapist would with a patient suffering from a personality disorder. With my focus on women, I see that we are quite capable of wearing many different 'hats'. It is not only about accepting who we are, it is about rejoicing in our variety and not necessarily giving one precedence over another. Can a woman have multiple P.H.d's, be a sultry sex-pot AND be a mother? Yes. Certainly. And why not? Can a society be smart, creative, productive, peaceful, spiritual AND hedonistic to some degree?
In short, my work is about expressing the highest potential of the macrocosm of society in the microcosm of a woman. It is about seeking and embracing one-ness with the universe and our fellow wo/man sans shame, guilt and fear of rejection.
