I guess so. i mean, if they were holding something, it would be appropriate, but as to where they're not, it wouldn't look very realistic at first glance given the fact that the people who design those things tend to ignore symmetry...

Yeah, I was going to have the supporters (you know, like how some coats of arms have griffins and stuff stradling them) holding the crest, but the laurels got in the way.
