Doin' alright, thanks.  Teensy bit stressful, as Dell is in the process of buying EMC, and I've been with too many companies that got bought then laid off a bunch of people, often including yours truly.  Still, mustn't complain - I still have a window seat at work, and am working on moving to a different line of work that's less vulnerable to this sort of thing.  Hopefully I can quit before they let me go, if it comes to that.

ANYHOO. Making sure I enjoy the weather - Autumn is my favorite time of year.  Caught a snake on my walkway just as I was about to start up the lawnmower this weekend.  They're not seen that often around here, so I enjoyed having it curl around my fingers for a while before letting it go in the woods.  Nice little interlude.  The lunar eclipse was fun to watch with the neighbors, but I had the WORST time with condensation on the camera lens and the telescope. Pretty disappointing, photo-wise, but it was nice to be out there.

I've been working on a way to make soap bubbles that glow in black light, but that's still in the works.  Pics will be up if I ever get it to work well... ^_^

Autumn is a nice time of year. I can never catch snakes. xD My godfather caught one once, but it peed on our hands. XD It was so gross lol. The lunar eclipse sounds pretty cool. x3

Oh, that smelly secretion that they make when they're caught, yeah, that's strong stuff.  At least Garters are harmless, and once they're handled, they're really docile.  Wish I could have taken some good eclipse pics, but maybe next time.  Time to focus on bubbles.. muahahahaha.... I've always wanted to try the sub-zero bubble shatter, too.  Hope it's cold enough this year. ^_^

Ach, busy as all get-out, Meza.  Not gonna go on about work, because it's a fantastic End-of-Summer, end-of-week night.  I did manage to get some sort of plant poison on my arms a couple of weeks ago, they've been itching like mad, and they look like I was trying to give an angry cat a bath. Heh. Just figured it was a random place to chime in, and I was pretty cheesed about the whole firefly thing. ^_^  I'm doing alright. You? The summer days are getting shorter, and the evening insects louder, so I'm really trying to enjoy it. I took tomorrow off of work, and I hope to avoid a to-do list from everyone (because, "hey, YOU'RE not doing anything-here's a bunch of errands and tasks!") and get some pics/prose/drawing in.

so she began letting herself go
