If you don't mind me asking, what materials did you use to make the Cassandra Cain outfit, assuming that you made it?
I'm hoping to have one by October since the organization I'm in performs in costumes on Halloween night and I'd really like one of her outfit, but I'm unsure on how to start.

The base is a lycra zentai suit, ordered from eBay. At the time, I got it for $10 or so, but since the suits have become more popular with cosplayers and sports fans in the last few years, the average price for them on eBay is more like $30-40 now.
They added the ears at my request, since it was one of their options, although the ears also came with a tail I didn't want, so I removed it, took out the stitching, and used the fabric to cover the mouth. I bought some other random black fabric that was a little easier to see through for the eyes.
-The logo was painted on with a stretchy fabric paint. I can't remember the name of it, but it took quite a few layers and some major taping up and fighting to get it not to bleed into the fabric. Bought it at a craft store... bright yellow, in a little pot.
-Cape was the most awesomest vampire cape ever (since most are shrimpy and made of velvet or something lame). I got really lucky when I found it because it was the perfect material and length. I just scalloped the bottom edges for the bat shape, and cut off a big puffy vampire collar, as well as removing the wimpy Velcro collar attachment and replacing it with a proper hook clasp (much stronger hold, plus Velcro and lycra gloves do not mix well).
-The vambraces/gauntlets/whateveryouwannacallthemwithbatspikesonthearms came with that lame store-bought "sexy Batgirl" costume, which I'd purchased a few years ago and then got angry at how inaccurate it was and shunned it to the back of my closet (but at least I got use out of the bat spikes! haha).
-Belt is also store bought, just the standard Batman costume belt, which is dead on perfect. No reason to make one when the prop looks right already!

Yeah, I saw those store-bought ones, and as soon as I saw the skirt, I decided to pick which Batgirl I loved the most and make her costume, that being Cass Cain. I was just gonna use some leggings and maybe a skin tight black shirt (seriously skin tight, so you can't see the break between the shirt and leggings very well.)
I've been thinking of Zentai, or maybe pleather? The leggings and shirt are just if I have absolutely no money to spend (I have family that needs a lot of help getting out of debt.)

You might be able to pull off the shirt and leggings! You could try to use the belt to hide the break between them, and if it's relatively the same kind of fabric then it might not be that noticeable at all. (you'd definitely be able to take bathroom breaks easier, that's for sure! hahaha)

I would check for it in costume/party stores once they start stocking Halloween stuff, which should be soon, and if not then it's there on Amazon (you can probably also find it on eBay. That's where I got mine).
