I don't know tbh. On one hand he's having a bit of an internal crisis at the moment, with his mentor mysteriously dissapearing and him now forced to care for the clan, even though he has his name he doesn't feel very prepared at all and is terrified he might mess everything up, so adding the responsibility of teaching another cat when he's still so inexperienced would probably make him even more overwhelmed. But if a cat wanted to be an apprentice, I suppose he might have to take them? It's been a long time since I read the books, so idk if medicine cats have a right to refuse an apprentice or not? You might want to ask the group founder? (Personally, I would prefer to wait a bit for character development reasons so Turtlestep can adjust and get some experience under his belt, but if he HAS to take up a willing apprentice, I guess I'll figure out a way to roll with it...)
