I dont know. As a novel it's fairly decent. Just the fact they are having us read this stuff is a telling sign. School isnt a tool against idiocy... its a disease that results in these symptoms. The work manages to neither be intelligent nor engaging, and the students end up thinking its boring to be smart. Its really fucked up, I swear.
