It all started with an experimental device created by doctor Ozel to increase the intelligence of human beings. Any disease could be cured, scientific miracles could be accomplished. Brain diseases and brain defects cured, all of this relied on the testing. The first person to test a helmet was Doctor Tomoki, experiencing full on the intelligence brought on by the helmet before he went into hiding. The second one to don a helmet was Specter, a small albino spider monkey that was the main attraction at Monkey park for his white fur and juggling act. Dropping the helmet by accident into Specter's tent, the white monkey put on the device and Tokyo as well as the world would never see monkeys the same way again. Like something out of "Rise of the planet of the apes" Specter gained intelligence, powers, and the ability to speak human language. Leading an ape revolution against man kind and determined to the world ruler. Although stopped in his tracks many times by children armed with gadgets made by the very professor that created his original helmet, Specter will never give up until he wins.
PERSONALITY
Specter is quite the deceiver in terms when it comes to personality, having a keen mind and higher intellect means that Specter is a talented liar. He is also sadistic in tone with humans, laughing at their failures, or bringing up bad memories as a distraction. Only those with the strongest of will power should try to face this monkey alone because he can figuratively rip a unprepared ape catcher to pieces with only his voice. With other monkeys, Specter is more calm and collected. He has yet to ever be seriously mean or rude to another ape, except for when they purposely disobey serious orders or argue with him. The albino's true evil colors come out once he is with humans, and he does not hesitate to attack with brutal force. Specter does how ever display morals occasionally, such as wondering about his owner or letting Spike live in the anime when he could have killed him right on the spot; these occurrences are rare and should not be relied on. If someone attempts to turn the mind games around, using the amusement park and his past life is the worst thing they can do because Specter has learned to not fall for such insults, and it only makes battling him more annoying.

-Specter will actually never permanently destroy an enemy as such an act would make him just like a human in his mind-setting. It amuses him rather to mentally toy with an opponent instead. While in a fight he might make it sound like he wishes your total destruction, he won't put that finishing nail in. Like in the anime, he had the perfect chance to actually destroy Spike but he allowed him to live and helped defeat the pipotrons.
-Specter is a narcissist and a sociopath. He thinks only about himself and does not have the capacity for remorse, sadness, or double-thinking. This is often a bad habit because it leads him to mistakes and defeats. Another noticeable trait is his borderline personality disorder. None of these quirks were brought on by natural causes but rather a result of the helmet itself.
-The helmet does have control over Specter in a sense because it boosts his hate for humans to intense levels. As seen in the anime, the helmet will reinforce these feelings should Specter think twice. But he usually can keep this factor under control.
-Specter hates bananas over all else.

Dear god did he just actually say he loved me? Pink suddenly looked up in surprise, was she dreaming or did he actually for once not be a sociopathic manipulating jerk and actually show emotion? Although her face was blackened with ash from an earlier accident involving another monkey and a robot, she faintly smiled, tears fading. "Y.. You do?" She needed to hear it again, to believe it. And unlike before where the only emotion on his face was sarcastic hatred, it was calm and sweet. She had never seen him in a calm and sweet mood, or even a good mood at that. Usually it took a sick demented game to even make the border sadistic monkey gently smile.
She clinged tighter, actually grabbing into his black cape, she always hated this darn black thing. All tattered and low-class looking but on him it looked sexy in some weird way. She still preferred his suit though, or those leather pants. Pink had no shame in mentally admitting he looked very attractive in both gears, Pink was a actual decent lady mind you, she wasn't easily attracted to anyone. Blue was the only one she found to be decent compared to her leader, but at the moment her attention was focused on his own attention towards her.. She couldn't help but actually climb up into his throne with him, cuddling against him with a loving nuzzle.

Specter only realized what he had said, or consented to, a moment after he said it. Feeling her tug on his black cape and crawl onto the throne with him for a loving hug. The albino knew very well that now she was a weakness, and his own actual love for her could be exploited by anyone else who would play on such a low level to get back at him. Namely his virus counterpart. But Specter couldn't ask for a more loyal, loving servant, or girlfriend, than Pink in reality and he knew it quite well. He had no proper idea of how to date, or be a boyfriend at all. Rather, he was used to being a loner without emotion, having trained himself to be desensitized to everything including love but he assumed getting her into new clothes would be the best thing first before she gets a rash or her fur gets tangled from clumps of burned ash that was all over her. Specter didn't want her to get sick either, knowing just how bad the fumes of ash could be breathed in at close range.
"Yes Pink, I do." He said once again when she asked for some sort of reassurance she heard what had slipped from his mouth correctly. Resting a paw on her back, Specter gently returned the hug with one arm, keeping his left arm still on the chair's proper place for them. "But you do need a bath and fresh clothes, and if you don't mind me asking how you got burned up in the first place?" He requested in a soothing tone, this was so out of his personality that Specter could taste the irony in the air. Would this come to bite him in the tail, possibly, but he couldn't keep his emotions from her forever anyways. "Go relax in the base hot tub for a while, get calmed down, and then change into a new dress. After words, if you want to, you can sit with me while I work." A small smile was on his face as he looked at her, though still the always evil monkey he'd continue to be, Specter suddenly felt much better about himself, and tons of stress was suddenly lifted from him. He felt so light.

Pink was surprised. So surprised. She was actually getting affection from Specter, he wasn't annoyed with her this time, just being caring. She listened closely to what he said, paying attention to every subtle move he made. She giggled when he mentioned the hot tub bath that she did need, Pink wanted this ash out of her fur pronto. She'd paid so much Gothca coins for fur products, salons, beauty shops. Everything she possibly needed to look like a star would be ruined if she let the soot stay in her beautiful silken fur. And surely, Specter did not want a burn smelling girl for his date.
"Of course baby, I'd be glad to." She said, running her fingers through the clumped fur with a little nervous giggle to follow it.
She climbed down from his lap, standing up and smiling at him when he offered her to watch him work. "Of course, I like your chair anyways, it's fun!" He replied in a bouncy tone before turning to exit the room, humming a song she had heard on the radio to herself in a bouncy tune and then realized she was humming "Happy Sensation". But at the moment of being so happy and feeling so close to the one she waited to be with for months, she couldn't think about a silly rivalry at the moment anyways.
"I hope he means his affection..." She thought as she walked and skipped down the hallways, visibly happy. "Please don't let this be fake."

Specter wasn't really too sure about the situation, he was so inexperienced it was difficult to decide if this is what he wanted or if he simply buckled from the pressure. He folded his arms as he watched his new girlfriend leave to go clean her fur of the ash. He felt a bit happy that he had someone to share his work with, no one else tended to show any interest in what he did. And Specter actually tended to feel lonely in his throne room doing nothing but work all day. Sometimes he wished his dearest human trainer was there with him, something to cuddle into. Sadly, the one human the albino saw as not cruel was gone. He wasn't there for Specter anymore, as far as the monkey knew, he just... left. These thoughts caused the monkey to sigh before turning his advanced hovering chair around to the computer, looking up at the large monitor as he began to quickly type in some mathematical formulas.
"I surely hope I can do this right." He thought aloud, a small nervous frown on his face. "I've never dated anyone before... this is going to come back and bite me I just know it." He said simply, the spiky haired monkey would slowly start to go back to his daily duties of managing the base, but the thought about his new little commitment.

((Honestly, if I had made the remake or the first game, I would have made it to where Specter taunts Spike over the PA or on a large monitor during the battle. I would have also made it to where After Jake's car explodes, he starts trying to fight with Spike using his own copied gadgets. A two part battle.

((Only logical answer I can come up with is what brainwashing actually. It's the power of suggestion. Meaning that it forces one to do something they really wanted to do bu can't or won't for whatever reason. Those 2 never wanted to work for Specter so of course it didn't work. Hence why his attempt at brainwashing Spike failed. Jake always wanted to go against Spike due to his competitive nature. Those 2 racing each other at the beginning might have been foreshadowing for Jake being brainwashed.))

((True, but it does say that Spike's will had become too strong for Specter to corrupt. Specter probably used hypnotizing as his technique, which is a bit different then brainwashing I would think, and you have to have a really strong will not to succumb. I am guessing the only reason why the energy exploded in Specter's face when Spike refused was because obviously he was using his actual laser beams to torture Spike during the entire thing to try and weaken him so it'd be easier. WAAAAAY TO MUCH STRESS ON A 10 YEAR OLD.)

Charlie felt so enraged yet calm at the same time. Her best friend was taking sides with the enemy. Sure, this,was his choice, at least try not to,make it a big deal.
"..Oh hoho....Once I see him.I swear I will defeat him..." After all, Jay was by her side, and appearantly that virus he had before was analyzed causing a gadget upgrade.

Specter was not out on the streets -not in plain sight anyways. Only a little while ago did Monkey Blue and Onyx steal a large cargo of ammunition from a gun-store nearby. UFO's had dispersed to pick up the shipment and flew right over Charlies head the moment she even stepped out. Three huge crates held numerous amounts of bullets and weapons hung below them as they flew, a few pedestrians proceeded to gasp, or exclaim "Aliens!" in a comical way. But clearly these weren't aliens due to the monkey pilots, and clearly they weren't headed to mars. If they hadn't noticed Charlie, maybe she could follow them?
