I also thought of something else that the writers were trying to capture even though it was poor:

Just because the mane six became breezies for a short time did not mean that they themselves changed.  For instance Rarity was still Rarity and so on.

Now I do also admit this, seeing Fluttershy as a breezy made sense since she is known to take care of animals anyway.   I am just surprised that she didn't just go on her own to help them get home and not the others.

Was it just my imagination, or were the FlutterMac vibes flowing hot and heavy in this episode? Did I see a mutual attraction thing going on between Big Mac and Fluttershy?

But what does that say, then, of the whole FlutterCord paradign, which the hub seemed to confirm as ipsofacto existing in the Three's a Crowd episode? They wouldn't be setting up a scenario where Fluttershy has to choose between Big Mac and Discord, would they?

And why does it seem the stories are more 'grown up' than would be on most 11 y.o.g.'s mental, emotional, psycological and social levels? Could this be an acknoledgement of MLP-FIM's adult fanbase? If so, what else do they have in store for us? BUT! {and this is something that reallyreallyreally neeeeeeeeds to be asked}

WHEN will the SEARCH for those SIX KEYS beGIN!?!? There are only 12 episodes left after all. 11 if you discount Twilight Time {another CMC epi airing next week}. This season is just chok-o-blok full of surprises, aint it?

I would not worry about the Fluttermac ship.  Especially if you see Dissy in her windows in the opening credits looking out at her smiling.  Does that not tell you something?

As for season 4 winding down, don't worry there is a season 5 later this year.  When 4 ends, that means we will have a nice selection of episodes to watch on Netflix and 4 seasons to choose from to be exact.

My thoughts on Filli Vanilli:

I felt that it was a slow start but it was cute.  I loved it that the writers brought back Flutterguy and for a reasonable purpose too.  

Even though she creeped me out, I thought Pinkie was better written this time the way she she meant to be.  

Then you noticed that Twilight came back on behalf of Pinkie who was trying to help even though she appeared to make things worse.

Big Mac:  The reason he lost his voice was pretty funny.

And I don't know which was funnier. Applejack confronting her big brother with "Big Mac, you got some 'splanin' to do", {a homage to Desi Arnez's 'Ricky Ricardo' character from the 'I Love Lucy' show}, or the way the questions/answers part was written. hi-LAR-ious.

I think the funniest line in the show was when Pinkie said "To tell you the truth, she kinda sounded like a dude." 

The bit where AJ questioned Big Mac about everything funny too?

Then the animation this time was pretty epic. They really captured the emotions of what stage freight can do.

You know what?  I notice two things about Discord.

1.  He is very sly but he you notice he is try to teach everypony a lesson.  In Twilight's case, not getting upset about every little thing and by using his Chaos as a good example.

2. His manipulative type of manner is a way to let everypony know a sign of that hurt and loneliness 

Fluttershy:

1. It is official, she has feelings for him and vise versa.  

2. I picked it up when Fluttershy was patting his shoulders and calling him those names.   Yes, they are a couple.

Pinkie Pie:

I noticed that Pinkie wants to reach out and get to know him but he is not interested in her at all.

Yea, I felt so bad for him when he look so hurt to see the bond between Cadance and Twilight, he really is alone and been manipulative is way to get the attention he feels he wont' get other way.

I think they put the Pinkie scene because, there's a part of the fandom that ship them because of their similar nature (in the way they are both pranksters, and Pinkie could be define as a bit of chaotic nature, but more in a girly way). So I'm thinking they put that scene to make clear that, despite they may be seem as the perfect couple, that's not gonna happen, because in Discord's case, Pinkie's personality it's not what he needs, he's chaotic enough himself, what he needs is someone caring that shows him he deserve can be love and appreciate despite his chaotic nature. Fluttershy is his opposite, his other half, she completes him as he completes her, since she obviously need someone as daring and fun and powerful as Discord to make fell safe and put her out of her shyness ans seriousness.

I didn't get why he wanted Twilight attention so badly and not the attention of the other (except Fluttershy), he also showed interest in Twiligh in "Return of Harmony" I think he sees her potential and wants her to trust him as she trust Celestia, because he could be very well as much as mentor as her, he's equally if not older and posses a lot of knowledge himself. I think he wants Twilight to rely on him, so he can actually serve some good

1. I don't think he'll Clestia choose a please for him, he probably choose it himself. About that, my guess, the most logic  please would be the Evergree forest, why?:

1. It's a chaotic isolated please were he could exercise his powers freely with bothering other ponies

2. It's next to Fluttershy's cottage, witch would go with the image in the opening, he lives near her, so he visit her often

I am thinking that he is living in the old castle ruins myself and that is probably why we saw the yellow eyes at the end of Castlemania.  

I hope they show more of him in future seasons with just him and Fluttershy.

Hmmm, idk, as I told, if you see in the fandom there're a lot of people that think Pinkie Pie and Discord are made for each other, witch I think wouldn't work at all! doing that would feed those theories.

I think what we need it's an episode of Discord bonding a little with the other main ponies, like, for example, making Rainbow Dash actually accept him as friend, witch obviously she doesn't. The same goes for Rarity and AppleJack, I think it would be nice if we see them all actually caring for him, becalms I think that's what he wants although he'll never admit out loud.

Pinkie Pie already showed in this episode that's she's willing to give him her friendship, same with Twilight, she obviously find him extremely annoying, but she wouldn't do all the things she did, if she haven't accept him as friend already.

Yea, it's like, they're too alike, and, personaly, I think the best quemestry (in fictional worlds at least) in couples matter comes out of opposite personalities that can complement each other. Discord is annoying (lovely annoying imo, but mostly just annoying for the rest of the ponies) and very needy, needs someone as patience, kind and caring as Fluttershy who look beyond he chaotic ways and see how much he actually needs friendship and that he can be good and fun to be with. On the other hand (and I'll like to see this to be work out in some episode in the future) Fluttershy, been so, well, shy and insecure and not know how to relax and have fun, needs someone like Discord, who could stood up for her, protect her from the ones that try to take advantage of the kind heart, and make her feel more confident of herself. 

The last thing Discord needs is someone as annoying and chaotic as him, he showed in this episode he can stand Pinkie's wackyness much. He has enougph of that in himself

Well, what you think about today's' ep?. me, for one, that has to be the most ugly stupid key ever!!!!, I mean, even if it had to be something festive for Pinkie it could have been something that looks a little nicer for Gosh sake!

Second, the between the previous episode and this one I we can finally give the PinkiCord ship sink for good, in the previous Discord showed clearly that he finds Pinkie annoying and in this one, I think Pinkie met her soul mate. I didn't lke Cheese Sandiwich much though, for first I have his name (yuk!) for second he's even sillier than Pinkie. Pinkie is silly but at least cute, this guy not even that!.

I'm gessing the next one to get her key and PLEASE make it something nice is going to be our beloved Fluttershy, see this ep description:

"Filli Vanilli": Fluttershy resorts to extreme measures to support the Ponytones band after one of its members leaves from a concert.

or could also get it in this one:

"It Ain't Easy Being Breezies"

All ponies are getting their keys out of been true to their element of harmony, so if Fluttershy helps this pony through kindness, she/he might give her something as thanks gift witch it may turn out been her key.

Sad, because I was kind of hoping that Discord would be the one to give Fluttershy her key, but oh! well he still can have a good role in the story of the keys if the writers aren't COMPLETE idiots

The Breezies episode have no description but for the title one can guess it's going to b about the Breezies, witch only Fluttershy have already know, is there any possibility that Discord shows up in that episode and he helps Fluttershy to get her key? I surely think that woud be way more fitting than she helping some band, it'll invlove creatures and Discord two things that defined Fluttershy's character way better than helping a band (WHTF?! REALLY!), but idk, it could be in any of both.

Anyway PinkiCord sink for GOOD, PinkieCheese just sailed (I don't give a fuck for them just happy that pl get over the idea that Discord could EVER have eyes for another pony besides Fluttershy )

Now we need to sink CelesCord (my GOSH that ship annoys me, I mean, even if the WAS something between them, it's heavy in the WAS, it's passed, finish, buried in thousands of moons XD)

Today's episode was sort of depressing to tell you the truth.  I think it was very rude of her friends to just desert her like that for some new pony who they thought was better.    I actually cried.  

While the songs were great, there were too many.  I felt that way about S3:ep 13 as well.

I really don't think Pinkie learned much of anything other than being too hard of herself and finding out that she was hurt and whether she was meant to do what her cutie mark fulfilled.

As for the ship,  I think he and Pinkie will be a nice couple as she has someone to share the joy with.

Regarding Discord:  I never liked him and Celestia together as I don't see them together.

Oh! I was SO angry with the ponies, especially with Rainbow Dahs, after all the hard work Pinkie was putting on her party. Idk WTF are the writer doing with Rainbow's character but she's been doing anything but shine in this season so far. In the ep of the competition, she almost deserted her friends and home town for being in the same team with those two bitches. Then on the Discord episode she flew away as fast as she could denying Discord any help, not  giving a shit about him or at least how he could affect Twilight's special day (something at leas Rarity and Applejack did think about). And finally in this episode, just leaving Pinkie behind that way so she could get a better as-kissing from the new guy!!!! so much for the element of "loyalty". Really, I used to like her character more, but she's being going down this season, hope we see her behaving a little better in future episodes.

Yea, this wasn't much a lesson episode, but Pinkie got her ugly ass key, so I guess that was the whole point of the ep, have you realize each one is getting their keys when they come to a point their are untrue to their element of harmony and they realize that they come to their sense, their element comes first (the rainbow glow in their eyes) and as result of that conflict resolve they got their key?.

Some songs I liked on the ep, some made me feel just "meh".

Cheese-Pie is a nice couple, really soul mates. 

I've heard some bronies comparing Cheese with Discord, saying that Cheese could overshadow Discord's popularity, if that's happen, it's official we're at the dawn of the friking apocalypse! I mean C'MON!!!! that clown!!!!, he's a friking male version of Pinkie and nothing more!!!!!. How in HEAVEN and HELL could somebody compare them?!!!!! Discord has his own personalities, his OWN CHARM, and he is the only naughty character in the series, the only troll, the only that tease and keeps things interesting. He has powers beyond comprehension, he can make appear ANYTHING out of thin air and mess with reality in the way he please, he millennia old there for has more knowledge than most of the characters of the series. And bronies want to compare him with a regular earth pony whose personality is nothing more than imitation of other characters personality???!!!! WHF BRONIES?!!!!

I think Discord and Celestia MAY have had something in the past, may they were friends, or Discord had feeling for her and she couldn't return them, idk, whatever, it's clear as water that IF there was something, they both are WAAAAY over it.

I think Discord is always going to be popular.  He was just as hilarious as can be.

Rainbow is not being a nice character this year at all while the writers have made Pinkie look so entirely stupid.  She isn't at all.

The only character that is well written is Twilight and she is the one who is turning out to be so kind.

I like what they've been doing with Fluttershy as well. The Flutterbat was EPIC! and they left the door open for her return by showing the fangs are still there by the end of the episode. Besides in that episode, she was the wisest one of all, she knew the messing up with the ways of nature is an unwise thing to do.

Also in the two episodes Discord showed up she stood up for him in front of her friends, but also scold him when he showed such delight malice in finding out that the elements were gone, so she cares enough for him to defend him, but she's also aware enough to know when he might be going the wrong way.

Finally, she was kind and generous with Rainbow Dash when she found out she had the chance to compete in Clowsdale's team, she said she should go because she knows how much Rainbow's love to be in the winning team, she wasn't even mad at her.

Flutttershy is my fav pony and I happy how they've been managing this season (the Hulk thing was a little gross, but also hilarious XD)

Rarity and AppleJack are ok, just the same as they've always been imo.

But yea, Pinkie had  been acting more stupid than usually, and Rainbow has been simple insufferable 

 this season! cocky and selfish to the point every now and the I have to re-watch the part when Discord kicked her cocky ass in the first episode!

Idk why they are exaggerating her cockiness so hard this season, she used to be a cool character, a little cocky yea, but fun and good and loyal, things she haven't been in this one.

Fluttershy is my first favorite pony because she is such an interesting character.  Maybe because she can be shy and sweet for a long time and then when the time comes, she says "Enough it enough."

Twilight is my second in which she is my favorite color and then she is a pony who is a student.  Even though I have a Pinkie side, I can have a Twilight side as well.  I also hope to be more like her as I get older.  Again, I love what the writers are doing with her.   If you remember she was more arrogant, condescending and sarcastic.  You look at her now, she is that mentor type.  I would really look up to her as a result.

Fluttershy is so interesting indeed, she extremely shy and insecure and therefore she bottles her feelings too much, witch naturally cause those feelings to just burst sometimes. Her mane is come to hide herself under it, and that's how she lives, hiding from the world. Therefore not much ponies notice her real self, I think that's one of the many things that's make her and Discord a perfect match, I think Discord also hides himself being his humour and chaotic ways, never really letting know how he feels, yet, they seem to understand each other. It's like he can see how awesome she is behind that shyness and she sees how sweet and good he can be behind that sardonic ways.

Another thing I love about her is her special talent, i'm an animal lover myself (and pretty shy and insecure as well), so I can relate. It's like since she is quiet but not a fool she can observe the world and can see on animals more than others can see (just like she does with Discord), she can see throug their aperance (like in the vampire bats episode) and see that no animal is really evil, they just have needs or can be scare like anybody else.

Rarity is my second fav pony. Btw did you saw today's ep?, I felt so sorry for her ;__;. I love her because she's the breaking of an stereotype, usually in fiction, the fashion flashy girls, is also self absorb, shallow and egocentric, the typical high school or supermodel or secretary executive bitch that modern media have exploited so much. Yet Lauren found a marvellous twist in that stereotype, she showed that just because a girl like to take care of her look, enjoys her femininity, loves to look well, to like herself when she looks her image in the mirror, that doesn't mean she can't be kind and generous to others. I love how feminine is Rarity how she loves pretty things, and she is still generous.

The only thing I don't like about her is her denial of giving Discord a chance of friendship.

Third fav pony, Pinkie Pie, I always love the wacky of the group. In this case, I love because she's wacky and girly at the same time. Generally comedy seems to be a field more for men or gross-behaved women, yet Pinkie is very girly and super fun. I also love how she seems to live in a world of her own. There's more in her that just party, she seems to have a lot of imagination, it's just that her imagination is as wacky as she is. I think it's that same wacky imagination that makes her more intuitive (the Pinkie sense) than the rest f us. She often knows what's going on more than the rest of the group because she can imagine it.

Finally, I love she's one of the few that's seems to be willing to actually give Discord a chance of friendship (even if he's not very interest XD)

Four fav pony Twilight of course. I think she always have that mentor thing you mention, only that now it's more evident, witch is a sing of well done writing from the writers, since, she's no longer Celestia's student. But she continues her seek for knowledge on her own, witch is a great example for little girls, because in the real world, a person who wants to improve herself should always been in seek for new things to learn. I love she's a nerd but girly as well, may be a simply and pratical, but girly, she's over exigent with herself, witch makes her go a little wacky sometimes and that she's forgiving and understanding. Even when she clearly finds Discord annoying, she's willing to give him a chance and offers him her friendship. 

AppleJack and specially Rainbow Dash are the ones that interest me less. Mostly because, unlike the other four, they're not very girly, they both seems to reject their feminine side, and that's make not very interesting for me.

I do love that AppleJack is so responsible with her family, it's like she took the lead there and is there for all of them. And I love how much care she shows for them and how hard working she is, that's a good example for little girls too.

Rainbow Dash, *sigh* idk, I used to like her better, she used to be more fun to watch, and her loyalty was always unbreakable, but in this season... well, like we said, she's been very bad written =___=

I don't know what to really say about Rainbow Dash but I do know that I don't care for what the writers have done with Pinkie.

Did you saw today's apisode A lot of Big Mac in there, it he was so funny and cute, arguing with his sisters XD and I love that Pinkie has a family now, she did seem a little lonely for someone who loves the company of others and make them happy. Now she is part of a big family and I can't wait her future interactions with them as family now and not just a friend, since family always means more intimacy and more mess XD

It was a really heart-warming episode imo, it even made me tear a little X_)

Even if they are not cousins, I think Big Mac has a thing for Pinkie.  The way he loaded up their wagon for her and the way they were talking is what is stoking things up.

As for Discord, you know he can be very manipulative if he wants something.  So he would NOT be sick.  The only sick he has is a love sick for Fluttershy.

But, now they have officially accepted in the Apple family, I don't see them getting together, it could be interpretative as kind of an incest, and this is children show XD

I think Big Mac loaded the wagon because he was trying to show how awesome the Apple family is, like Applejack commanded.

I kinda love how Big Mac kind let himself been command by his little sister, and how she's in a way the head of of the family, despite been a female and not the bigger stronger one. 

Idk, may he can get sick, even though he's a immortal. Or may be he will just trying to get some attention, I think he actually wants their friendship, but, except for Fluttershy, nobody is giving him the benefit of the doubt, it's like they're waiting for and excuse to "blast him into stone", so may be this chapter will turn out with the other main bonding a little with him, not as much as Fluttershy (hey, they wouldn't put him looking at her so lovingly in the opening, if their relationship wasn't bound to be more special and close than with the other main), but still it'll be nice if they learn to get along with each other better.
