 they're not random, just about every one of them is a good game. my favorites are ones like : DMC 1/3, Dragon Quest VIII, Final Fantasy X / XII, Zone of the Enders 1/2, Shinobi, God Hand, Star Ocean 3, the list goes on and on.

I have Shadow of the Colossus and I used to have soul calibur 2. Shinobido never came out in the US, but I own almost every Tenchu game, and many Metal Gear games. I don't own Burnout, but have played it; it's fun. I'm not a fan of Bully or any other games from rockstar for the most part. Red Dead series is ok.
