well, its been 90years. since the storyline.
- nations cross over (if 2 different benders, then the bending skill comes from the woman.)
- story is based in ba sing sei. (at the start)
- starts on the eve of the avatar ceremony.
- lion-turtle shell is now a civil firebending colony (azula's ancestors rule and still believe in the war, except they think its benders vs. normal people)
- four main characters. upperclass waterbender. middleclass waterbender(whoistheavatar). middleclass firebender. and lowerclass earthbender. upperclass boy was put into a school in the middle-lower rings and so is friends with the other three.
- airbending still exists, aang taught others with the help of appa because appa is the original source of airbending he was able to teach others.
- benders have been restricted to learning to bend until they are 15years old. everyone but the upperclass bender can bend.
- the little firebending colony attack the avatar ceremony, and call other benders to take over the world so its only a bending world! the four escape and the girl learns she is the avatar.
i tried to start writing it. i planned it all. but then i lost all my files and i couldnt be bothered starting again. hahaha.

I'm liking the sound of this very much. How are we going to right it? Chapter by chapter alternating the two of us or what? And have you thought past that part in the plot, liek what's going to happen later on, or will it evolve as it goes?

Hahahha. the Avatar Ceremony is a simple ceremony where the Avatar is announced. Hahahhahaa.
Well.. In most of the stories i write, i use me and friends in it. So i was the waterbender, kristen was the avatarbender and the other ones dont really matter. but yeah.
i think we'll both write it. through email or something? like talk about it and write it at the same time? maybe or alternate. whatever. and later on.. i planned for Four Volumes. in the stories, there are always similar occurrences. so i had it planned as, Water-Earth-Fire-Air.
um... these are the volume plans. now we can always change them! if we wanted to, if something bad happened. hahahaha.
water - introduction, the pro-bending colony are recruiting more and they want to kill the avatar because she wants to settle the differences, meanwhile they have to learn bending from true masters and not the friends (cant remember why)
earth - as it occurs in avatar, like i said similar occurrences/themes, the fall of Ba Sing Se, except to the benders. meanwhile they're trying to learn earthbending. except in the last battle, the earthbender was killed. (awkward)
fire - the four arent wanted anywhere, they want to be killed by the benders because theyre with the avatar. and want to be killed by the non-benders, because theyre benders. theyve met friends and all. so they plan to infiltrate the lion-turtle, it goes horribly wrong. the avatar is kidnapped. the two benders are put into jail and there were some new characters in it too who were killed. or something?
air - avatar escapes, is all alone. meets a new friend they have to save the others and then recruit everyone theyve previously met. and then they battle the colony. and rebuild the world! hahahaa.
there was more to it. but its late, and i dont want to squish all your creative thoughts by interrupting your own ideas. hahahaha.

well, im at the peak of my creativity at night time. hahahaha. it sucks. cause i cant be bothered during the day (which i sleep halfway through) and then im up until 2-3ish. which sucks as well. hahahaha.

what a twist is that the avatar dies!? and at the end, there is this whole speech about the world and peace and benders. and then its like five years later... and then there's a main character and there wife is given birth! its announced an earthbender, they wonder how. and its the new avatar!?

Ohmigosh. So imagine the death of the Avatar in some great battle caused the whole word to realize what *idiots* they were. But if the Avatar cycle was to continue properly then that would mean an Earthbender Avatar would die at the age of five. THen they would have a Firebender Avatar. Unless you can think of an explanation as to why the cycle miraculously stopped for 5 years?
OH. BRAINWAVE! So, what if the Avatar dies in the Avatar state. The Avatar cycle stops, and the Avatar would return to the spirit world with no mortal embodiment available (I think this is explained in one of the episodes or something). 5 years later, someone (they'd have to be a fairly special someone) SACRIFICES themselves to the spirit world in order for the Avatar to return to the mortal world. Whatever season it is at that time, that is what type of Bender the Avatar would be.

Hahahaha. Im not sure. I didn't understand the top bit. Why would the earthbending avatar have to die? Because the cycle is, Water-Earth-Fire-Air. This is set AFTER the series. hahaha.
And well, it doesnt necessarily have to be five years later! Maybe a main characters parents got pregnant and... I JUST HAD A BRAINWAVE.
At the end of Volume 3: Fire. The Avatar dies in an epic battle, the benders are taking over. And then as she dies, a baby is born being the new avatar, and then the story just goes on as usual. Or something. or.. like you said, they could die in the Avatar State and then the Spirit World overruns the real world? But that'd be pretty silly? i dont know.
hmm.. so, we will make sure the Avatar dies in an epic battle at the end of Volume 3: Fire. and then we can choose how they die, avatar state or not. and if the cycle continues. if it does, then we can just leave it at that and part of Volume 4: Air is trying to keep the baby safe? And the spirit world is making its bending already powerful because they need help? Or something..
and if it doesnt. the sacrifice might be a bit hard... Who could sacrifice themselves? Wait, Roku. Said that it would, cease to exist. meaning it would never come back, isnt that in the winter solstice? or something.

Ok, but it says something in the Airbender's Lost Scrolls about the Avatar simply returning to the Spirit World when they died in the Avatar state. So if they Avatar dies in the epic battle (NOT in the Avatar state) how are they going to find out which baby is the Avatar? They didn't know Aang was the Avatar until he was two years old.
And what the heck did you say about the Spirit World overruning the real world? 0.o
One of the main characters already being pregnant before the death is a possibility. It just means we would have to go for a higher age group. Like 18. Or maybe 16, but thats preeeeeetty young. Ugh *shudders* I hate the word pregnant. It' so... ugly.
Otherwise, if it's a random having the new Avatar, they would have to make a list of all the Earth Kingdom births in the week after the Avatar died. That could be a hell of a lot! But possible, so we can't rule it out.

Maybe the gang meets a girl who got kicked out of home because she got pregnant really young. Whilst on their travels. She gives birth at around the same time the Avatar dies?

Well, we'll worry about the conditions of the Avatars death for later, when we actually get to Volume3: Fire and Volume4: Air.
But i think that's an awesome idea, the girl being kicked out. And well, maybe we should find a simularity in all of the avatars. Maybe they all have the same freckle? or scar? or something. Maybe all the Avatars from Aang's point onwards have a strange scar on there back?
We can write whatever we want! So, we can make anything up. But it has to stay at least relative to the main Avatar series, like there is rarely a animal that is just one species its also, a turtle-duck or a hawk-stake? i dont know. hahaha.
I think they spend ages planning, things like this. But usually they have inspiration.. But i do like the girl kicked out of home idea, it is actually very good. Its good to put in real world aspects, it gives a feeling of... Reality.
Don't worry about the Spirit World thing. hahahaha, i was just throwing out ideas. Like, the Spirit world has enough reasons to destroy the world. Killing of previous spirits, the library episode. And now that the world has killed the "bridge" between the worlds, the spirit world was trying to help save the world by sending the avatar, they have had enough and want revenge? i dont know. scratch that idea.
I think we can vary the ages, but Avatar would have to be 16. Earthbender 17? Waterbender 16. Firebender 16. Ages dont all have to be the same, but the upperclass waterbender has to be the youngest cause they cant bend. thats a major part, a lot like katara the longing to bend makes them more powerful!
And maybe to tie it in with the Avatar series, one of them could be related to the avatar, or toph, or katara. Obviously the firenation colony were ancestors of Azula, who was "cured" and released. or something. i dont know. hahahaa.
Maybe, with the Avatar. They are in the Avatar State, but just before they die. They return to normal. Everyone thinks that the Avatar cycle is diminished. But really, the pregnant girl's child is the new Avatar who gives birth just as they die.

Just as the Avatar dies, she glows a little. And then dies, and then when the baby is born they glow! Like a bit or something!? And they have the same color eyes... People would know that that is special. Do you get what i mean?

That's a good idea, with the scar. How about this? Aang's tattoos represent his chi paths, and his scar interrupts the tattoo, therefore being directly on his chi path, that is why all the Avatars after him have it. (The thing about the tattoo's being chi paths is actually a fact, I didn't make it up).
Sweet with the ages. As for the pregnant girl they meet, should she be a bender? Should the father of her baby be with her or not? Maybe he's the bender?
I think you meant the Fire Nation colony are descendants of Azula. If they were her ancestors they would live before her, silly
I like the idea of them just going out of Avatar state before they died, and they baby's eyes glowing. But we'd have to come up with a reasonable explanation WHY the eyes glowed, that's all.

And, the eyes glowing would just be like the spirit going into the baby maybe. But maybe we could just include a bit in ANYWHERE and it says like that baby's there are born with there eyes closed? I dont know, and this baby was born with it's eyes open so they glowed! I don't know... And

MAYBE the father of the baby is prisoner of the fire nation colony, so if all ends happily for the mother + baby avatar, they could be reunited with him in the end? Think about that one, anyway.
The thing with the baby's eyes being born open is cool, I like that. Anyways I'm sure we could think up endless possibilities as to how they determine the baby is the Avatar.

Maybe the baby could show signs of bending early, if it's life was in danger. Say they were bein attacked by a lone fire colony soldier, and the baby did some kind of mini-Avatar-state thing? Hmm, I don't know, maybe that's too crazy XD

I think we probably should make it all happy, but make it seem tragic at the start. Like maybe have the mother think that the father left, but the firenation colony has a psychic? Like the cloudreader in Volume1 in the real show? And they locked him away on false accusations believe the baby hadn't been conceived yet! Maybe and she thinks that he left her because she told him they were having a baby? And he is saved at the end of Volume3 before the Avatar is killed, because i was thinking we have like a whole giant battle! Except it all goes wrong, so some like rescue benders and non-benders from prison and want them to help fight. But it all goes wrong and they lose? You know what i mean.
I like the baby's eyes being opened as well, it'd be like... Whoa. So it like comes out and they glow for a second then turn to normal and then its the end of Volume3.
I think hiding the baby would be hilarious! Plus would be different, so its not all dragged out. Hahahaha. But i don't think we'd have the Avatar State. hahahaha. Maybe like, it'd sneeze airbending? It would randomly play with water, and create pillars of earth when its angry? Or breathe fire. I don't know. Hahahahahaha. But it'd be so much fun writing that.

Yeah I didn't really explain my mini-Avatar-state thing properly. But you know how the Avatar State (when Aang has not yet mastered it) is like a defensive mechanism, it happens when he or someone he loves is in danger? Well say the gang are under attack, and the baby cries and a small pillar of earth shoots up, tripping the attacker and making them fall flat on their face, or hitting their head and becoming unconcious. Hm but it'd probably be a but weird. I like the playing with water or earth idea. Probably earth, if that is the nation of the parents.
What will be good about this is the Avatar dying, because it's just not something you EXPECT. Hahaha.

It's probably the best Avatar fanfic I have ever read. It takes a while to piece together present, future and past, and what's actually HAPPENING, but you get it eventually. And there are Tokka themes so if you don't like Tokka you're just gonna have to deal with that. But it's is so well written, really emotional, and scary and WOW. It's amazing.

exactly! hahaha. youd be like, there the avatar. nothing can defeat the avatar!!! ohcrap, theyre dead. i had a flashback! i remembered a way i wanted a certain thing to go. It went the same was the Southern Raiders. but more dynamic and bloody. It was the upperclass waterbender with someone, and they went and the waterbender was all distraught (they've learnt bloodbending) and then they find the person. stalk them in there own home. like watch from beneath the pool water, then in the house. then they take it down. in a whirlpool of water. the waterbender then raises the left hand up and the other person's hand goes up, the right hand goes up and the other person follows. and then they cross each other and the neck is brooken. thats just something i would like to share.
OH! and the firebending colony also has ONE waterbender who is actually good and teaches the upperclass waterbender styles - appears all over the world randomly in the different volumes (how they learn bloodbending) and then they get locked away. and they help lead the army in VolumeFour. i wish you were in my head right now. hahaha.

So did you read some of the fic. It's so well written, though the way they just jump into the past and future is kind of liek... WAIT WHAT!?!?! Hahahahah I'm writing my own Toph & Sokka fanfic. Probably only a oneshot, or maybe a few chapters. Hm.

... -______- ... i told you it was in Ba Sing Sei. and well, theyre all in the one school as kind of friends and i suppose some dont like others, like the lower doesnt like the upper and vice versa.
how i planned the start to go. was introducing all of the characters, and noting about all the bending laws (the lower/upper get into a fight about it cause upper cant bend yet) and then they go to the Avatar Ceremony. then having a bit about the firenation colony, the descendants or azula. and then they attack the ceremony. The avatar is told that she IS the avatar and then they escape. that was really how i thought the first chapter would go

and i had this awesome idea for the end of volume1: water. theyre in the NorthPole. and its all been rebuilt, and its undetectable. because the city is in a giant iceberg, like its antartica except in the middle of the wasteland of ice is a giant hole with waterfalls going into it and thats the watertribe. hahaha.
damn, ill have to draw some pictures so i can show you what i mean! and theyll only be stick figures. hahaha.
