Quick question: What program do you use to get the shading so even?
I have been using this Paint program that comes standard issue with windows and have gotten tired of doing manually? Appreciate the feed back :]

I use sketch book to draw, but I don't really have a program just for shading. Normally I'll just get a darker color from my base color, or make black and make it on a separate layer and making it transparent. If you're having problems with a shaky hand, which is pretty common, try quick swoops, or slow, it's different with different people. I hope I didn't just blow up your mind there.

When you say "Sketch Book" are you talking a physical pencil and paper book or a program provided by deviantart or another source? And thanks for the tip but paint does not work with layers from my experience with the program unless its a hidden affect somewhere. Mind not completely blown.

No, it's a program like paint. I don't use paint, so I don't know much about it, but it would be very hard to use without layers, I suggest you get some kind of program that has them.
