Electra, Evo and an upcoming Techrules AT96 TREV's creator, the main baddie of your Over/Drive series, discovered the SH-4-D0W and has created a foolproof countermeasure, whoever it is must have some serious grudge against you and me.

Well, I'm happy to report that the SH-4-D0W doesn't work quite as you'd expect.

All it does is scan any nearby racers, sometimes before the race even starts.

(Heck, knowing Noire, there's a good chance she's tagged every single one of your characters already.)

Using that scan, it matches the top speed of the scanned vehicle, and sends the appropriate amount of power to the engine to save for later.

Once the SH-4-D0W is activated, not only does it give Noire's Murcielago the exact same top speed and other stats, it aldo uses a bit of spectral technology to warp her directly into the racer's shadow behind them, hence the name of the device. (I'm honestly surprised you didn't point that out.)

From there, Noire simply appears right behind the racer in question, and using the draft, she can either slingshot around them, or, more likely, pull a PIT maneuver by slamming into their rear corner panel and sending them spinning faster than a P1 changes gears in automatic.

That's 50 Milliseconds, by the way.

So, in short, the SH-4-D0W is immune to any countermeasures, because it simply uses a database that's already in her car. There's a reason I've dubbed her the most dangerous SE driver. But her real nickname is the "Mercernary with a Murcielago".

But it's dead, because I gave it to my father at one point, he held on to it for about a year, I held it in mind despite the fact that I kept the charger for the thing at a different house, then he found it three months later, then I lost it again, then I found it, then I lost the CHARGER about a month back, and it's just been sitting underneath my bed ever since.
