Rats are such adorable animals! What inspired you to make your fursona be one?

Ive always liked rats. When I was little I would go outside and try to rescue rats (and mice) from my grandmothers cats. I've also owned 50 rats myself. The most I've owned at one time being 43. Right now I only have 6 rats, but yeah. They are my favorite of the animals and I think I fit really well into the 'rat' category myself. ^.^
