I was in Scranton a little over two years ago shopping for a camera. The guy at the counter was moonlighting at a Ritz Camera outlet. He was lamenting that he did a Wedding, including prints for $585.00 and had trouble collecting the 50% balance due. My kid thought it was a lot of money until I broke down how much time this guy likely spent one this "one day" event. My kid was immediately discouraged. I told him:First build a portfolio, then ask for what you think you are worth. Mind if I send you some of his early efforts?

well you're wish is granted. Josh got the morning off [[he's the S2 of the brigade so he has to welcome in the troops coming back from Afghanistan]] One of the other Louies decided to relieve him for some reason, so we're going snow boarding instead. and You'll come to know that I don't normally go anywhere without my camera unless it's to the grocery store.

Ha Ha talk about coincidence. After my "modeling " gig Friday and the big shindig at church Yesterday, I as exhausted but also in dire need of some vittles (victuals), so I went directly to the store from church. At first I though I was seeing things because I was pretty goofy at this point since i was so tired ( OK even goofier than usual). There was a young woman at the store with a camera and although I can't be sure, I swear she was taking photos of people's asses when they bent over for stuff. In l all my years I have never seen anything like it, but I thought it was really funny. And no, she didn't get me , because I don't bend, I squat. (bad back)

I wish I felt like it. Ive wanted sooo badly to get out and take pics. alas, I've been too weak. Theres a photo competition coming up and I doubt I'll have my entry ready for it. Worse comes to worse you'll have to wait until Feb. 27 when the Fur Rondy 2010 kicks off. Its a big festival thingy in town. with dog sledding and such.

because I have a heart condition. A slow leak in the left ventricle that sends problematic rapid rhythms making my heart beat faster... my heart beats as fast when I'm completely still as a normal persons would if they were in a full blown sprint. What happens when an Athlete doesn't stay hydrated? he falls down. becomes weak. sometimes even passes out. Well my heart thinks its working out all the time. ALL the time. So where a normal person needs to drink 8 glasses of water a day... I need a LOT more. some days are worse than others. if I drink more soda one day or do a little more exerting activity than normal without compensating it with water... it sucks. and its embarrassing in public
