# About me
My name is Alex Kmeto and I am a professional comic book artist from California (currently residing in Denver Colorado) specializing in comic book penciling and inking.I am currently working on a creator owned project with Jacob Semahn of "Man of Action Sudios". I have also contributed to several anthologies with other up and coming artists and writers. Over the last few years as I've been honing my skills as a comic book artist, I've been able to increasingly draw on my experiences as a part-time investigator in a criminal defense firm. My current job as a Certified Personal Trainer has been extremely helpful in my continuing studies of human anatomy and motion. My past experience as an actor and film student in Los Angeles have also given me a leg up on story telling, shot selection, and beats, enabling me to bring the characters and places I draw to life.
My subject matter runs the gamut from super heroes, comedy to crime stories with a "film noir" feel. Regardless of the genre, I always emphasize what I believe to be at the heart of the comic book medium: well "acted" exciting plots, and dynamic story-telling.

This submission I'm working on is taking longer than I thought. I'm trying a little something different by working off of a professional script (Geoff Johns' Green lantern #1), and inking it myself. I should finally have it done by Thanksgiving. Good to hear from you!

I know this may seem out of the blue, but I was looking at your gallery and I think you are a fantastic comic artist. Just a great sense of style and incredible layouts. Your background and current job sound really interesting too!I'm a comic book writer, and unfortunately an 8 page short story (a mix of horror, dark humor and action) I have written for an anthology being published in the next few months has lost it's artist due to personal reasons.
