I am a lover of all things C-U-T-E! I have a passion for Monster High dolls in general and love to re-create them. I also enjoy taking pictures of my recreations and Mattel's original dolls.I have a shop on Etsy where I offer my dolls and other creations to good homes. ;)

How do you get the Monster High's doll hair out to reroot it?

You take the head off and pull the hair out through the whole using needle nose pliers.

Its hard to take off a monster high's head off, So how do you do it? I took off one of my Frankie's heads and it broke. Like it would NOT go back on.

I turn the doll sideways. Put the head in one hand, body in other. Pull straight, hard and fast. Don't hesitate! I've never broken a doll. Hope this helps!

I have a question if you would be so kind as to permit me an answer? how do you rewire the hair on your dolls?? what do you use for the hair? and what paints do you use to paint them/varnishes?? it would be most exquisite if you could contact me in response thank you for your time

I use Saran hair from www.restoredoll.com. You can find tutorials on how to reroot the hair from this website: www.mylittlecustoms.com. And I use basic acrylic paint. Hope this helps!

Awww Thanks! Rerooting is hard, but can be learned and then it becomes mostly time consuming. And making the clothes is hard, I think. I'm not very good at it. Most of my clothes come from other artists who are far superior to me.

I use acrylic paint. The stuff at Wal-Mart works well, it's in the craft section. Hope this helps! Don't forget to get sealer as well!

They are called Monster High. I'm sure you could work wonders with them! You find them down the same aisle as Moxie, LIV, etc.
