Spam is useless, unwanted mail that is often sent in bulk. Usually it's an advertisement for something pointless and often contain links to harmful websites that could download a virus onto your computer. Also some people consider chain messages to be spam. Hope that helped clear things up for you

Haha don't worry about it
First way you can do that is if you have a photo editing programe ( like kodak easy share / photoshop ), usually they have an option in it that allows you to change the size of it.
Second way that you can do it is, if you have paint on your computer - open the picture in paint and then press ctrl and a together at the same time and then drag in the cornor of the picture until you get the size you want.
Third way is I can resize it for you, just send the picture to me in my e-mail and tell me how much smaller you want it (1/2 the size, thiner, shorter ect) and I can send it back to you

Did you put it under the category of Deviantart related - deviant ID? Also sometimes it takes ages to upload- maybe even try it tomorrow as it could be even a bad internet connection? I'm not to sure

PS it could also have to do with the size of the picture, try resizing it - it might help
