Just checked out your gallery. From one birder to another, your photographs are fantastic! About Mickey the meadowlark; you gave him time that he otherwise wouldn't have had so try not to feel bad. That was a damn decent thing of you and your father to do.

Thanks very much for saying that about my photos and Mickey. I appreciate it. I went back to the spot that I found him today... I just got so attached to him in that short amount of time and it was so hard to see him die that way.
