My name is Rebecca, I was born and raised in Manitoba, but I currently live in Ontario, Canada. I have Irish, Scottish, and French blood. I speak English and don't know French, despite the fact that I have a French last name. I am introverted, and I never had many friends, but that doesn't bother me in one bit. I love to draw, been doing it since I was a little kid. I love Star Wars and I am a trekkie and will be until I die, and I am a big Criminal Minds fan, love Thomas Gibson and Paget Brewster, heck I love the whole cast. I'm also a big Sherlock and Doctor Who fan, seriously, I nerd out on those shows all the time. I'm also a fan of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films and books. I enjoy listening to Bon Jovi and David Bowie, my taste in music goes from rock to pop to country. I enjoy classic films, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Charlie Chaplin and Fred Astaire. I believe myself to be an open minded person, and I believe in acceptance and equality, whether it be race, values, beliefs, or sexuality. Thank you! I mean, obviously it's difficult to do that everyday, some of us have depression or other personal issues that make us feel the world is going to end and that nothing matters. But, if you can just get passed that and try to be optimistic, maybe things will go well. I always try to be optimistic, I'm not all the time, but I never stop being grateful for what I've got in my life.

Yes, me as well, some days I feel like nothing ever goes the way I want it to go, a lot of the times they don't, but it makes all the more worth it when it finally does. Like you said "If it's not okay, it's not the end." And hopefully things will end okay.

Exactly. Plus, when there are days you aren't looking forward to, you just need to think, one more day, after this everything will be better. Don't think of a crappy day as the end of the world, think that things will be better tomorrow.

Yes, it's definitely one of the more profound conversations I've had. You know, not that long ago I was in a depressive state, I felt really horrible. But even though I felt that way, I kept thinking that I'll get through it, I always do, I'll be better eventually. You know what, I'm better now. Even if my emotions and my thoughts don't coincide with one another, I'll always try to make my positive thoughts more dominant than my negative emotions. I refuse to let my negative emotions conquer me.

And it makes me so sad that a lot of people do let the negative thoughts take over...It's easier to do but at the end of the day you are going to feel better when you don't give in and you remain positive...That's how I feel, anyway. I get what you're talking about a lot! I have a pretty bad anxiety disorder and a lot of what gets me through is happy self talk (:

Yeah, I have depression and anxiety, so it gets pretty bad sometimes. Even right now, I feel my anxiety at the pit of my stomach for some odd reason, so I'm trying to just breathe deeply, stay calm, and try to be positive. So far it's been working for a few minutes at a time, but I'll just keeping repeating the process until it goes away, and I know it does.

HEYYYY! I'm doing good/normal/frustrated. Went on a trip to england, got back, swamped with homework, been typing shit up all day and simultaneously watching Game of Thrones and looking up assasin's creed everything namely altair malik sexay times. *deep breath* So yeah! Aww, you went to England? NICE!! I've always wanted to go to Europe, but no money equals no trip. School sounds fun, I actually wish I had some homework to do to fill my day with up with something productive to do. AND WHAT!?!?!?! There is a new TSC?!?!?! How did I not notice!! I am a subscriber to TSC on youtube and didn't even see the video on my home page! I've gotta check it out!!! Is it good? No wait, of course it is, don't tell me, I'll see for myself, then we can chat about it!!! So lately I've been developing a bad case of insomnia, can't sleep at all at night, my body could be tired as hell, but my mind won't shut off for a few minutes so I can fall asleep. Haven't slept properly in mayve two months. Now, I'm sleeping most of my days away because I finally fall asleep at like 8 in the morning, and since I'm so tired for being up for such a long time, my day just goes away from me. Also, I've gotten into Horror Classics like Dracula from 1931, MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE HORROR FILM!!! I love Dracula (Bela Lugosi) and Renfield (Dwight Frye), absolutely fantastic! I've been getting into drawing again which is great....I forget how to do shading properly now, but I'll re-teach myself. GOTTA GO CHECK OUT TSC NOW!!!
