You guys feel the earthquake? I remember when I was in kawasaki we felt the last big niigata quake a few years back. :worried:

Yes, we felt it, just a minor tremor here though... I feel really sorry for the people in Nigata, lots of damage and one day after the first big typhoon of the year.
My wife's family is in Sakura Shinmachi so we spend a lot of time there, but we are in Komazawa Daigaku (one stop away).
How is everything with you? I really wish we had gotten the chance to meet while you were still here in Tokyo, hope you make it back one day!

Yeah, it's terrible we lived so close together but never met!
The people in Niigata really have had a long string of bad luck. There was the last big earthquake when I was there in 2005, and the mudslides, and now another earthquake. Poor people.
I remember Komazawa. I did a few lessons at Sakura Shinmachi nova once too!
