Just curious, do you have a fine arts background? Or are you working on becoming an illustrator? Your work's pretty professional looking. I love the traditional works dearly. And the comic-styled works are awesome. That Autumn one <3... Looking forward to seeing MOOAAR! (^ . ^)

yes... uhm... I studied paintings, it was long time ago. I almost stopped drawing when I start working (I'm a 3d animator) and sometimes I try hard to restart messing around with colors and pencils.

It's more than 10 years that I don't practice any oilpaint, my inking and watercoloring are very simple and my understanding of digital painting is very low: in general I consider myself still a noob : )

Ahhhh 3D Animator?!? That's a tough job, but sooo cool! Yeah working in that field (long hrs n such) makes it difficult to devote spare time to more art. It's great that you make time for some.  It's modest to consider yourself a newbie, I consider myself the same. Leaves room to learn also. Still you're line-work and characters are so expressive. Your inking looks simple, but it's quite intricate. I hope to accomplish that expressiveness that you've mastered.

You are right: animating is quite a cool job but I got left just very little spare time and mental energy for my own projects and ideas.
I'm always thinking about drawing and trying new techniques and I keep daydreaming.
